interrupts aren’t on the gcd
Translation: hey blizz if you bring back the loot piñata nature of m+ and make it the premier low effort-high gain activity that made it a scourge to everyone who didn’t like the playstyle and was forced to participate to maintain power parity … everyone would come back.
And guess what… the best way to make the content low-effort is to simply make it impossible to fail. By removing the timer, players that suck at the game can simply slow crawl their way through entire instances with single pulls and low, brain dead dps. We don’t want to increase our success rate by actually improving at the game, we just want to increase success by lowering expectations.
How is this relevant? You claimed the tank has to do every mechanic. Including DPS and Healer ones. This is not true.
It would have to be a hard stop where you just couldn’t complete the run, so nobody gets anything but a repair bill.
Does N & H flex not go down to 10? (Legit can’t remember)
Speaking as tank, this is a terrible idea. Remove the timer, and we tanks will be tanking… for each other. Why would we bring your squishy evoker to a run without a timer? Any ++ we could complete with you in group, we could go higher with all tanks. Tanks will do fine without the timer, but the rest of you will be trying to get along without us.
And if Blizz forces us to carry you by requiring you to be in group? You’ll have to play the game knowing you are resented as carries we are stuck with, not someone we wanted in group.
Let me tell you about an amazing thing called Enraged that raid bosses got on them…
You really think they’ll care? Free carry is even better.
If everyone who whined about tank shortages picked up a tank there wouldn’t be any tank shortages. But they won’t. That role is for other people, never the complainer.
I won’t tank either; but I’ve never had these issues.
