Remove the votekick popup

This mentality keeps this community toxic.

In all the years I have done dungeons almost all the kicks I have seen done that I don’t consider legitimate were done by guild groups or groups of friends. That will still happen and most people don’t do more than 2 dungeons daily anyway so who cares.

The troll on here, he will still be able to kick anyone he wants because he is playing with friends.

I agree it shouldn’t be an automatic accept button. Maybe you have to type a reason before you can hit accept, maybe it tells you to right-click on the portrait, just something to act as a speed bump to kicking mindlessly.

A person should also get only so many kick votes in a time period. Maybe 3 a week or similar. Have them reset just like any other weekly content.

good lord did you take that out to left field.

Not even left field. That is past the bleachers and outside the stadium.

Not to mention, rather inappropriate.

I was actually done with this thread but that totally threw me for a loop

Thanks to the support from this toxic community on keeping up with abusive votekick, yes!

Now you know how your entrance to this thread felt.

Kicking a problematic player is anything but abusive.

Because if we try to change the system any to counter such behavior, we then in turn empower trolls without the help of their friends.

Never said that is abusive.
Being able to kick whoever you want because you just want to ruin that player’s day IS abusive.
And the people in this thread ARE DEFENDING EXACTLY THAT.
Toxic enablers I say.

Define: abusive.
Then putting such an abstract meaning into a definitive computer system.

A person cant remove anyone they want. 3/5 people can however.

If getting kicked from a single dungeon ruins your day then you should do other things.

But tricking the toxic groups into kicking themselves because they also don’t read the popup properly is my favorite thing.

Uh, no?
That’s pretty sketchy tbh.

Kicking someone because of a non-gameplay reason.

The system could be fixed by limiting votekicks and having to write a reason, which will be sent to the kicked one which can be used by the kicked one to open a support ticket. IF the kick wasn’t justified and it was abusive, the kicker should be temporarily unable to use the votekick system.

Then maybe it shouldn’t happen if nothing wrong was done because it enables toxicity in the community?

They’re telling you exactly the rule set BY THE CREATORS (Blizzard)! You are trying to twist and interpret things to your own liking.

How would you know if nothing wrong occurred?

Then can you say, 100% for sure, that votekick was never and will never be used to kick someone without a real reason and just because you can use it without any penalties?
