Remove the timegate on the catalyst

I rolled on all the tier pieces that dropped this week that I could and lost every roll. Catalyst is there for people like me who happen to be unlucky. Every raider is not fully tiered on the first week.

Raiders do because we have hard DPS/healer checks. If you want your tier faster, then raid. If you don’t like raiding, then just wait.

So do raiders. But we all have equal access to the Catalyst.

no you don’t… if Echo can clear the final boss of the mythic raid in a week wearing nothing but normal gear, you’ll be fine getting your AOTC by the end of the season.

if i don’t need my tier set, then no one does… let’s just remove tier set drops from the raid… make everyone deal with the catalyst time-gate.

You’re literally fighting ghosts. The timegate is week 1 of the raid being out for folks who raid and are lucky, and week 1 of the dungeons being out for folks who do dungeons and are lucky

If you’re already in 4pc you’re either incredibly unnaturally lucky or you’re banging the raid lead. What you’re asking is not realistic and most raiders will be getting tier maybe 1-2 weeks at the most before you.

i don’t raid whatsoever… it is a completely unenjoyable activity that would require me to set a rigid schedule in stone that forces me to log on to the game at the same times three days a week for years.

i prefer to enjoy my free time and, you know, actually be free to log off the game when i choose.

Guys and gals, it’s clear this dude only cares about one person and makes it clear exactly who that is. He cant be bothered to do a “chore”, one a lot of us enjoy. Ironic that he stopped by to complain about a feature added mostly for his type. Its just a case of “I want it now, but can’t have it” while failing to realize that only the luckiest people have 4pc already. I certainly don’t.

There is no world where even the most progressive raiding guild has their entire crew full tier set. That’s not even statistically possible. Even if people funneled gear. I do agree that the biweekly catalyst structure sucks.
