How do you know who signed up first? Maybe the level 11 was there first and you came in later.
Make your own group if you want to group up with a specific level range.

The easiest solution is to just make it so that only 30+ can do timewalking again. Level 10s/11’s existed for years in the regular dungeon queues and were rare enough nobody really cared. Some of us have xp locked characters that have been the same level for 15+ years and want to do content on them. They aren’t even close to as overpowered as 10’s are.
Well, i just quit the run and play on another character until the debuff goes away. Thats all you can do. Blizzard is never gonna un-screw-up this game. I have never seen the population in this game this low before. Maybe its their way of saying the game is healthy.

You might see 1 twink per 20-50 runs. It’s actually fun and exciting when you get one.

Simple solution. Group with friends. Never have to see em again. You are level 80. Nothing there is an upgrade unless it’s fresh 80. It’s not new content. Who wants old content to take long? Majority are there for the vault. Get their 8 and move on.

I’m all in favor of XP lock = PvE Instance lock. They can PvP all they like.

My buddies and I have been leveling characters like mad lately (just got my “all classes to max level” achievement). I’d say it’s about 1 run in every 4 with the three of us in queue that we get a 11 twink. We all grumble about it and basically resign ourselves to just running behind him and don’t bother attacking, then make sure to leave instance group at the end.
I don’t think it’s the right move to directly target the twinks for taking advantage of the greater issue, though. Blizzard just needs to revamp the scaling so that it’s not creating massive power leaps at certain breakpoints. TBH it’s way more frustrating that my characters were hitting specific break points where they went from doing decent DPS to absolute gutter trash when I leveled. It seems like the first 3-4 levels of every 10 is the “Goldilocks” zone, where you’re doing massive damage provided you’re keeping your time walking gear updated. After that, the DPS falls off a cliff.
It really gives a bad feeling and reinforcement for bad play. I didn’t realize how terrible my rotation was on my rogue until he hit 80 and I was doing world quests.

if you are lvl 80 you are not getting XP. which means you are unable to do the content too.

What’s the benefit of being a lvl 11 destroying a dungeon?
I mean I understand fun, but is there any other reason? Are they after the gear drops or something?
Maybe they just want to feel strong.
I am told doing trivial content and feeling super strong is a valid reason for things, such as delves, to drop mythic raid gear.
badge/token/mount farming.

It’s not toxic. If the group doesn’t want them, then they shouldn’t have to deal with it. That’s what vote kick is for: one person making a run miserable for others doesn’t get to keep making the run miserable.
It is when your kicking for the lols. Throwing a kick to test if a group is annoyed fits that. How is this not toxic behavior?

Maybe stick to the topic at hand instead of highjacking the thread to whine about your dislike of some other incident.
This thread is about how people despise when they don’t get to play a dungeon due to one person leaving everyone behind and taking control where others could die and people don’t get credit for the run.
This isn’t “for the lols.” Go somewhere else to crusade over that.
