Remove the ‘timer’ from M+ and replace it with a ‘death counter’

You said that you read the columns incorrectly. Your very next sentence was “However, the overall numbers are up and down. There is no upward trajectory”. Which is also false that you didn’t admit you were wrong about. There’s always a caveat where you add something because you can’t just fully acknowledge being wrong.

Again, this is based on your extremely limited experience in M+. One that you even stated was filled with people speed running through which means they were over geared and over skilled. Those are carry runs. If you did keys with people your own skill level then they wouldn’t be doing that.

And key pushing will die because the aspects of it that make it challenging/ interesting will be removed.

It’ll be 4-8 for vault log off repeat. All season.

Isn’t that what players do now? When I was in a raiding guild last xpac the players that did M+ would log in to raid on Tuesday night and say they are done for the week after this b/c they got 8 keys done and they are just here helping out.

Dont worry I own the name without the special character too and have pushed on it in the past.

Thanks for the response.

Good. We seem arrogant because we actually do the content and im toxic cause you shouldnt be here giving opinions despite not doing the content. Go away.

If you are considering 2 an upward trajectory in a fluid environment then you win. You seem to be all about the “gotcha” and not about the overall point I’m making.

Which is.
Replacing the toxic timer with the delve death counter would be a big improvement for Mythic +.

How am I all about the gotcha when I am simply countering your very weak claims with data? That’s not how it works.

Your “overall point” was tied together with false claims and circular reasoning.

We read your stupid idea enough. No need to reiterate nor does repeating it make it less incorrect.

Then why is Blizzard putting a survey out for the Delve Death Counter to replace the Toxic Timer?

Nah I actually do keys well above 10, and more than 8 a week because I enjoy the high pressure situations trying to maximise efficiency to beat the timer whilst staying alive creates. We pull 3~ packs, coordinate stops and interrupts whilst our tank communicates what he needs from the healer and we all try our best to execute the mechanics as they overlap in more difficult combinations.

It’s a lot of fun, it encourages communication and teamwork, it lets us flex what our classes / specs are good at and feel valued beyond simply being DPS / heal bots, and each run / try is still a bite sized 30~ minute activity.

Not my idea. It’s Blizzards survey.

It’s just a survey. Stop reading into it. You are not Blizzard. You don’t even participate in M+, while your entire existence on this forum is about M+.

I wish I had folks or the time to commit to play like that. When I did have the time, I was a pvpr and it was a ton of fun to be playing with like minding teams.

This is also false. I did the math on this too a while back and consistently ~40% of characters who reached the top rewards keys went on to at least +2 key levels past the requirement. Meaning if 15s were required for top rewards, 40% of characters that got 15 went on to 17. When it was 18, 40% went on to 20.

Stop telling people what to do. You have no idea what I do for work, my experience in games other than I’ve played this one for 20 years and EQ before that.

But ok 15814 posts. I have work to do.
Blizzard is asking the question. Chris is back. Buckle up.

I’m literally not telling people what to do. I’m correcting your terrible takes that are not supported by any data. Sorry the numbers are not in your favor.

Yeah I feel like a lot of people aren’t really getting to enjoy the better things about the system right now. But it’d be a real shame to lose those things completely because of that.

And we would lose them, because even though we could still play like that without a timer, the idea is to push higher and compete indirectly with other players doing the same thing. If theres a point at which things become a slog of cc and waiting for CDs to minimise risk, that’s what players will do to complete it, and subsequently to keep up that’s what everyone else trying to do it will do.

Gotcha man with over 15k posts. You win.

It’s not about winning, it’s about you trying to spread misinformation.
