I mean I think some achievements are interesting, but most are RNG or time gated, simply and unabashedly meant to increase engagement metrics.
They’ve never carried any weight to me.

“Assault a flag in Arathi Basin”
Horde can’t do anything to stop you capping Stables (Or Alliance anything to stop you capping Farm). Just beat your team there, job done. Rocket boots and parachute help with this 
“Return a flag in Warsong Gulch” Okay this one might be kinda challenging actually. Could just be me, but most games of warsong I’ve played since prepatch (~75games) have been domination one way, or the other (49-25 W/L) but my objective in these games has been to capture the flag, not return it… So just a change of objective.
“Assault a tower in AV” Again, from my experience, you have plenty of time. The number of times I’ve tanked/killed Galv just to find that still nobody has stopped and capped IBT or TP… You have time.
“Cap a flag in EOTS” Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

You just have to run up to the flag and click. Lol. Other holiday achievements are much harder!
I love the people screaching about go to retail if you want it.

I like how people keep pointing to this one as if the AV flag is the issue.
The pain is WSG flag return which will be extremely tedious as a caster or healer.
