Is there any reason this can’t be released?
It basically fixes no master looter without punishing anyone.
Nobody will be forced to join ML groups, Nobody will be forced to hand over loot.

Disenchanting a downgrade that’s a huge upgrade for someone else, just because it’s a higher ilevel. That’s the worst.
Bring back all the abuses of the past and more.
I’m not following, this isn’t master looter. It just means if someone gets an ilvl upgrade that’s not actually an upgrade they’d be able to trade it away.
It’s still entirely up to the person to give it away if they want.
Anyone who’s been unable to trade away a 475 piece that is a downgrade from their 470 crafted gear should be able to relate to how lousy it feels.
PL with zero restrictions on what you’d trade is basically the perfect compromise.
You never have to trade loot if you don’t actually want to, but it makes loot distribution so much cleaner for organized and dedicated groups.
And anybody can be pressured to hand over their loot. “Give me your loot or you’re kicked”.
That’s what unrestricted loot trading will entitle you to do.
Watch guild membership go down as raiders help themselves to non-raiders loot in ever circumstance they can.
Sounds like the perfect scenario.
You get to keep your gear and go to find a guild that doesn’t have a loot council you don’t agree with.
Why would you want to be in a guild that gives you an ultimatum like that.
Keep your loot and find a better guild.
So take your loot and find new a guild or new group without that rule.
Or like don’t join a group with that rule idk.
The idea that anybody that doesn’t want to be pressured to give up their loot should get on the eternal hamsterwheel of guild-hopping is laughable.
Every abuse that can happen will. That’s why so many players refuse to join guilds now.
Ah the age-old phantom guilds that give menacing ultimatums that people still somehow forcefully subject themselves to.
If you can’t see eye to eye with your group on something as fundamentally basic as loot distribution, why are you there?
If that’s how it worked we’d be hearing horror stories of this happening rampant in this current expansion.
Why haven’t seen stories about this happening en masse?
Okayyyy…
I’m sure there will be no problem if you are able to pressure any member of any instance to give you their loot.
What part about find a new guild (with your loot still in your bags) is too difficult for you to accomplish?
I’m not understanding. There are restrictions now that prevent people from being pressured to give up ilvl upgrades. You want to return it to the past, when there were no restrictions, basically an anything goes scenario. Like during wod, LOLOL.
In the past loot was dealt by a master looter, you had no say in the matter.
This is completely optional and I’m not sure you understand the systems if you’re using this as an example.
If social situations cause you this much anxiety maybe you shouldn’t be in a guild in the first place.
WoD and Legion were Master Looted.
I have a Warlock that I take to raids with friends to give people summons and stones. I do awful DPS but nobody minds. I don’t care about gearing up that character at all, but when something drops for my locky, I can never trade it to the people who deserve it and could benefit from it because it’s an ilvl upgrade. That’s pretty stanky IMO. I’d appreciate this restriction being lifted, especially in 100% guild/community groups.
Here we go again with the MaStEr LoOt abuse, sigh. When they first made the change to forced personal loot, I went back and check for any post complaining about ninja looting or master loot abuse.
There wasnt one since they first introduced personal loot in MoP, they had already fix it. The removal to master loot was a fix to a problem that didnt exist anymore, something that Blizzard loves to do.
