High elf is just a political term. They’re the same race as belf, which is not the same as a velf.
Same way Nelves and NB are not the same race 100%

All Forsaken are from Lordaeron. Garithos lead only Lordaeron soldiers, as they were cut off from the South due to the Scourge.
The Blood Elves are in the faction with multiple races that tried to genocide them.

Again, all velf toons who were using that skin were completely bugged out on the forums.
They weren’t meant to get them. The bug happened since the models are so similar that it most likely spread unintendedly.
I mean ask yourself…
Why give the alliance TWO dark rangers when 1. DRs were originally a horde gimmick
And two, only nelves were turned in Darkshore.
Can belves create void portals and have tentacles coming from their scalp?

Literally Void Elves are just a sect of Blood Elves that experimented with void magic, though.
In lore, they are the same. Not all Blood Elves are Void Elves but all Void Elves are Blood Elves.

Kind of like when in 9.0, female High Elf NPC’s had purple eyes but then they reverted it and gave that option to players.

I have not played a velf in ages and forgot this.
Honestly I feel like the lore would be so much cleaner if Void Elves were just High Elves to start with. Ones who followed Alleria on a risky mission.
Because as the story is now we have like…
High elves are on Alliance
High elves leave Alliance
Some Hgh Elves rebrand as Blood Elves
Blood Elves join the Horde
Some Blood Elves do creepy void experiments and are corrupted
Void experimenters rebrand as Void Elves
Void Elves join the Alliance
There are like. Living individuals who did ALL of that. In one life time. It’s very silly.
