Like honestly there is no need to put put a global cd on a warriors burst. Can You make it any easier for an idiot caster to completely ruin our short windows of damage. Taking away global cd’s on avatar and sweeping strikes will make arms a much more viable spec and will make avatar a much more appealing talent. Stop messing with arms rng. Like make this change next patch so pvp can be more fun for warriors.
Ye let’s just remove the gcd from arms and nothing else as if no one else has this same problem

This. Everyone has this problem. Except mage with shimmer casting.
And our damage is fine. We just rely on our teammates too much. And our cc is limited. If the heals suck, you suck. If they dispel and help keep you on target then it’s a win.
But most classes have a tool kit to completely counter other classes with. Arms warriors lack that and mobility and have to sacrafice the only mobility they have for the only stun they have. They should be able to apply pressure greater than any melee(arms) because they have the lowest mobility in the game and hamstring is only a 50% slow that can be easily broken compared to pretty much every other melee who has an improved slow. They gotta make arms pressure way more special if they are gonna gimp their cc’s and slows so much. Can’t even argue this.

Yes. Only arms has more than one button for burst damage. Literally every single other class has to use only one button.
@OP Are you fried? Revert the GCD changes so we can go back to the “fast paste” games we all love so much.

I think Ret has this worse tbh. As Ret to burst I need to:
Build 3 holy power
Get Inquisition up
Build 5 holy power
Have Judgement off CD
Use Execution Sentence
Use Judgement
Use Hammer of Justice
Use Avenging Wrath
Use Blood of the Enemy
Use Templar’s Verdict>rest of my damage
All on a spec with worse mobility than Warrior and no short cooldown cc avoidance abilities like Berserker Rage, Spell Reflect, or Bladestorm.

Use Wake during burst after 1st TV. Usually judge>Blade>Inquisition>2x Crusader>Blade>Crusader for the 5 HP so Judge is off CD for the 25% bonus to first TV. Not sure where you think I am being disingenuous.

Execution sentence benefits from the bonus damage as well. That’s the tightest you can get that burst window if choosing to run ES.

100% not worth it for Ret, following up with stacks 2 and 3 of Crucible will do more damage, and is usable from ranged (something we lack as Ret).
Crucible also adds consistent pressure via the stacking dot.
Mostly for 2s, you go all in on rdruid and kill with bubble, dont kill? Leave arena
