Currently the daily dungeon cap is 30 instances. Blizzard put this in during vanilla classic. Is blizzard going to remove this limit with RDF? This cap wasnt in original wrath. Say each dungeon takes you 20ish minutes, it would be a bummer to be capped out if i wanted to spend the whole day spamming. Could this get removed?
Thats to stop bots
Just play an alt
Tell us that you don’t have a life without telling us that you don’t have a life.
dont really need this anymore as there is no DMT comparison in wrath. Could just find a better solution to bots instead of limiting the playerbase’s playtime
Dude.
That’s 10 hours.
Go for a walk, blood clots are no joke.
i think hyperfixating on how long someone would play the game isnt a reason to keep a cap that is outdated and not needed
I’ll have forgotten all about you two seconds after I close this window.
Seriously, DVTs are teh badness.
no worries, your just one of the many typical forum haters that doesnt post real discussions, just comes in to make yourself feel better bc ur life probably sucks so you choose to degrade people. All good man i hope things get better for you!
Life’s pretty good, thanks.
Would a hug help, friend?
I was under the impression that the cap had been removed:
However, this suggests that it is still in effect:
It’s definitely no longer a thing. I ran more than 30 when leveling in wotlk.
this is a great reply thank you! It would be nice if a moderator came in here to confirm. Sounds like it was removed but for some reason is still suggested to be in affect. Would be nice to know for sure
You get that message when entering to many in a rolling 60 minute time frame, not a daily cap
I guess this post is where the confusion comes, stating 30 still at the daily cap
If it is in effect it must have put it back in sometime after launch, as I leveled 100% grinding instances at wrath launch and there was for sure not a 30 cap.
It’s definitely still in effect.
I’d do my direbrew runs on all toons and then I wouldn’t be able to zone into ZG for like 20 minutes.
It’s definitely still in effect.
It was 100% capped at wrath launch.
I was doing Old Kingdom with guildies runs at nearly 800k xp/hour and we had to make our runs exactly 12 minutes long not to cap out. At first we were doing it at 9-10m and we did reach a cap and had to take a break.
Plot twist: he is in a wheelchair.
But for real though, you don’t know their story. You know absolutely nothing about them and yet to decide to judge. You prob need to go for a walk yourself if you can’t resist from posting such comments.
edit: I mixed up hourly and daily lockout.
What do you mean, “posting such comments”? He could be trying to help.
To MANY of us 30 instances a day sounds like complete overkill. If we’re gonna play the “look at their point of view, wontcha?” game, then look at ours too.
Thats because your hitting the 5 per hour cap (which has never been increased, even in retail Increases to 10 in MoP). the 30 per day would force you to wait much longer.
The dungeon limit isn’t supposed to affect raids. I recall some issues around that way back when they were first implemented, and some changes made, iirc.
The support article ambiguously only mentions 40-player raids, though, so that does make me wonder about intended behavior versus actual behavior and whether issues with being locked out to 20-player raids are expected.
This would be for the 5-per/hour, not 30/day, yeah? My group wasn’t as fast as you guys, but we definitely hit the locks when we got to GunDrak, then just split up and quested from there.
The irony is thick here.
