Remove 10% damage reduction from Titan's Grip

More realistically they’d just leave the warrior prot the whole time and have the other tank swap to DPS because DK / feral now deal more.

It wouldn’t help you be fury.

Take the DPS logs of Algalon and sort by parse count

https://classic.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/1017#boss=757

Fury is pretty much right in the middle of utilized specs on the fight.

The warrior class is underrepresented on Algalon, largely due to prot being underused.

Fury is fine. Buffing fury a bit wouldn’t make it used more in well built groups unless you buffed it to the best melee spec in the game, which is a crazy thing to be asking for.

But being actually realistic they’d bring a prot paladin, and be more likely to take me as a warrior for OT/Dps.

As it stands, both druids and DKs are more desirable in that role, by a wide margin.

Wrong: Any amount of buff would help us immensely in finding groups.

Imagine getting buffs and when someone else wants buffs becasue they are under performing and undesirable - you retort with “this is fine”.

Everyone on here needs to play a Fury war and see how bad it really is, perception is fried.

My parses in ulduar are damn good when i dont need to 5 global sunder - which again hurts our damage, which again is a huge problem.

To bring the utility that others bring, we hurt our damage, which is the point of bringing a dps.

A ret paladin is way more desirable in every circumstance than a fury war. Just plain facts.

Maybe week 1 of algalon kills people wanted “commanding shout zomg” but people are 1 tanking algalon now. Fury wars sundering is a massive damage loss compared to a rogue 1 combo pointing and 2 globaling a sunder for more value.

I don’t think anyone here nay saying fury war is talking out of speculation, they are all warriors posting. And everyone else telling them “they are fine” is just bullcrap.

Go play fury war, go live the warrior life, you will not find groups. Unless your guild takes pity upon you.

ret paladins are often the first class dropped, they have no unique utility at all and do no damage too, we did not run one in our main raid a single time in wotlk

Dsac as a raid wide 20% damage reduction is pretty damn unique to the class i would say. I dont know any other class besides paladin that can bring this.

Same for blessing of kings, dont know any other class that can bring this.

Same for judgement of light and wisdom - does warlock bring this?

Healing someone for the amount of hp you have as a tank save - do fury’s have this?

Hand of salvation reducing another players threat? Who has this again?

To say rets have no unique utility at all is absurd.

Show me the fury war that can lay on hands lol

unique utility, if i need kings i get the hpala to do it? if i need light the prot pala can do it? i guess ur struggling with the word unique

okay then

warrior provides no “unique” buffs as well, while the “generic buffs” they bring are still worse then the plethora of “generic buffs” that any paladin can bring, including ret - which can flex to an S tier tank/holy spec at a whim.

My point still stands, ret brings way better utility. I mean paladin as a whole brings wayy more the table than warrior overall.

I mean I wouldn’t bring a ret either when yall have 8 holy pallies lol

This whole thread is disingenuous. We all knew from the start warrior would be only “good” until ICC. Stop asking for changes just so your preferred class tops the meters.

warrior gives commanding shout, you can run an inferior version of it if you want to play a destro lock, but its at least something unique, ret brings a ton of utility, but all of it is already covered by other classes/specs in a 25 man group, if ret had a singular thing they did that was unique they would be way more in demand

As it stands now we won’t be good in ICC

That’s a matter of the class cannibalizing itself. Unless you’re advocating for prot and holy paladin nerfs, I don’t see why this should factor.

Ret paladins have the utility available to them.

So what’s unique about warrior? A single buff that any warrior spec can provide?Whilst paladins have 4 buffs that they can provide, plus dsacs, bubbles, lay on hands. Rets can do 3 of these blessings, and everything else all the other specs can, much like the only unique thing a warrior could possibly bring is a health buff that is useless after progress.

You’re saying ret has no unique buffs and then saying warriors have a unique buff, but you’re saying that paladin blessings are not unique to rets, whilst commanding shout isn’t unique to any warrior spec either. Any paladin can bring unique paladin buffs much like any warrior can bring commanding shout.

This is really my only complaint. I do fine damage as fury, I bring utility with sunder/shattering throw/etc., and every group I’m in is capable of killing the bosses.

But getting into those groups is insanely difficult. Warriors just need anything to change the perception that they’re worthless, and I would be more than happy.

Especially 10 man’s, I mostly run in guild runs anyways but when I can’t get to a guild run and have to pug it is an absolute nightmare finding a group. I either have to make the group, or find one that is literally begging for an OT/DPS and have been looking for hours, unless I want to join a full normal mode clear in 5k gear score.

Fury damage is awful for what they bring to the table, which is a health buff only useful for early prog, and a crit buff (who feral also bring, along with a tonne more utility and a tonne more dmg now).
