its not the scaling with dark anima, the fight is just hilariously badly designed. Was a problem when it was current too
Some of the tinker gems are throwing off mechanics for Dark Animus.
By throwing off you mean killing targets you shouldn’t? Yes, to do dark animus properly, that does involve taking off all of your passive AOE Tinkers and talents and doing purely single Target.
It’s a fight where if slay activates on anything except the big boss, it can threaten to wipe the raid.
the problem is absolutely bad players, who don’t know the mechanics, and other player’s aversion to wiping and learning as a group.
Yea, my Kill Command and Beast Swipe should cause elite to lose like 1/3 of their health, at least.
This scaling issue began at lvl 67 for me. I am questing outside Stormstout Brewery. All mobs are killing my void walker in two shots and me in three. And they are lvl 66 while I am 67
You should be one or two shotting the mobs, plus get the shield gems
I did it first try, and nobody in our group was a frog killer. There were several wipes but if the mechanics are followed it’s not that hard. I could have just been lucky I suppose, but where exactly are you running into trouble?

its not “impossible” its just a stupid boss fight
was this “impossible” back in MoP and the same people were complaining about it then as they are now. they boss has stupid mechanics that can wipe the entire group
Not sure what’s going on but if I really had the stats my cloak shows I should have, mobs would die from just thinking I might be coming.
Oh no, people are stuck on a boss where they have to do mechanics on normal, what are we ever going to do?
