Reminder that Zuljin went to hell- Eternal Suffering

For simply doing the very exact thing Tyrande would have done to save her people.

Just reminding everyone of peak Shadowlands writing.

I guess if Zuljin wanted to go to “heaven” he should have just let the elves kill him when they captured him.

He didn’t go to hell, he went to reform purgatory.

After some therapy he’ll either turn into a therapy vampire himself or move on to somewhere else.

I never saw Zuljin. But then I barely played Shadowlands.

It’s hard to say if Tyrande would have gone to Revendreth. It’s possible they would have sent here there for her thirst for vengeance, but I think its more likely she would have just gone to Ardenweald.

Where in Revendreth is Zul’jin?

He is all right.

That was so messed up. He is renoved Troll hero, all the trolls know his name. He should ascend to Loahood, or be present on the “The Other Side”.

Or , at the very least, be Warlord in Maldraxxus. As all 5 features that Primus held high was basically his description.

  1. The ambition to rise above one’s foe and the might to crush them.
  2. The Insight to discern their plans and the guile to outwit them.
  3. The relentless pursuit of victory. Even in the face of inevitable defeat.
  4. Maldraxxus is home to the mighty, brutal and brave.
  5. Great determination, or for those who maintain an unending drive to make their mark upon death.

Or something like that. This is pretty much description of Zul’Jin.

He didn’t deserve to go to purgatory because he didn’t do anything wrong. All he did was for his people.
But then again this is Blizzard and their double standards.

He did something that some else did NOT do?

Not really. Tyrande didn’t sacrifice Elune to save her people.

Zul’jin went to Revendreth because he committed a sin in his culture. Sending a soul to Revendreth is highly contextual. If such a society existed where murder was not considered a sin, then someone would not go to Revendreth for committing murder.

Well maybe the Spirits of the afterlife are Troll-ist so if you don’t end up on the Other side by Bwonsamdi you automatically suffer in Revandreth. Or maybe the devs just hated Zul’jin.

As much as TBC was awful in terms of lore expansion, Zul’Jin didn’t sacrifice the Loa, he was siphoning their powers.
Amani champions can still assume their visage in Zandalar.

Not just Zul’Jin. But he was done super dirty. The only good thing is that he escaped on his own from that awful place.

Ok. That still constitutes a disrespect to the Loa and a sin in Troll culture.

Loa are channeling their powers to their champions anyway, we don’t know details of this event, perhaps he went a bit overboard with it, but it shouldn’t put him in purgatory where he he is drained of his spiritual power. Additionally Amani Loas were ALWAYS on the side of the trolls and they were directly participating in Troll Wars.

Still, if Troll is this acomplished, revered and almost worshipped, he should ascend to Loahood, like Zanza did. Zul’Jin is a legendary hero. He has statue in Zandalar.

They should send him back to Azeroth to murder Turalyon and be the hero we don’t deserve.

Tyrande would’ve killed Elune, Cenarius, Ashamane, Aessina, etc… and feed their power to her chosen few to transform them into Ancient-Warriors in order to wipe out an ancient enemy whom she blames for stealing land the Night Elves weren’t even using, and whom never really expanded past that afterwards, despite having the resources and allies to do so, and incentive after a failed war of genocide?

1/10, try harder next time.
