Remember when last seasons conquest gear was available as the honor gear?
And the new set of gear to obtain was the conquest gear for the new season.
man those were much more simple times that just actually made sense.

The double leggo, tier and conquest time gate is a good marketing strategy to make people buy gold. For boosts in pve and pvp and for all the different items we have to spend to get bis.
It’s a big time sink to get multiple toons bis gear
I think it’s funny they did all this work to squish levels and item levels down to reasonable levels in slands to only botch it in the same expansion. Fresh 60 is at 150ish. Geared 60 at the end of this patch is 275.
i was thinking about that when i realized that in the next expac will start at 300 ilvl

as much as im annoyted with them and their convoluted gearing system, i am thankful that the honor gear is very cheap and is 239 ilvl in pvp baseline. and the upgrade costs have been nerfed pretty hard.
