Rets are brutal. A good one is really thought for a war and if you dont have pve gear impossible. The imunity, 24 sec stun, burst damage is beyond stupid.
I win most my matches due to reflecting there hoj and disarm on burst but if LOH is up eh in a duel prob GG.
I would have to say that I personally love playing paladin I find all of their specs enjoyable. Ret has a lot of dueling strengths that is for sure, but outside of our burst damage with wings I feel like our sustain damage is lack luster. Thought talents like Inquisition do help. Warrior on the other feels good rather it be arms or fury, now I do feel a bit rage starved as arms but the damage feels good overall.

I would think you would find it lack luster going from pally to arms. I love wars but from a technical 1v1 standpoint were behind most other classes.

In 1v1 arms is definitely at disadvantage vs a ret pally. But having the healing reduction of MS and not having to rely on a 1min cooldown to do good damage is a win in my book. I have always enjoyed Arms warrior.

Yea fury has a chance. The ONLY way i could take you for example as arms is if you played supper sloppy and i got crazy procs off my trinket and Crushing assult tallent. But if those stars aligned it is possible with arms.
Hit someone in a BG for over 100k with a slam proc - ( i did have zerker buff at the time and they were cloth)

Nice! I think the highest hit I’ve seen in pvp is 102k with a TV.
Was likely on a Orb carrier and with salt+zerker but some ret popped up on my details with a 220k ish TV… rets can melt. aside from fire mage burst Ret is the only class that burst on me and i see my health melt.

Oh yeah, ret is scary when their wings are up that is for sure. I’ve done some crazy damage with salt water potions and zerker.
There still is quite a bit of dueling outside Orgrimmar if you’re phased into Tich. I feel like outside Orgrimmar should just have one massive phase that everyone gets put in. It is unfortunate to zone out of Org and only see 2 people at times knowing there are probably more out there in a different phase.

I remember legion when i would “fury” people or what i called it. Get a zerker + saltwater + burst and Odin’s fury?? think that was the name. AE fury artifact. I could take anyone stacked in team fight down 40 to 60% hp in 1 global. Wipe there whole team

Dueling is how I met most of my friends in this game and did arena with. Dueling was one of my favorite things to do pre-WoD, I think WoD is when dueling started to die off.
I recall wod still having active dueling, both in front of SW and Org
Probably, I just remember it not being as active as MoP.

That’s a double edged sword right there. Either no one is duel anymore ally side or that is how much the population has shrunk. Or there is the third option that they are dueling at hook point boralus.
Probably a lot from B and a little from A and C
