For the last two weeks I have had to continually use “reload ui” First I can’t see the quests on the map but when I reload I can see the quests but not my arrow for my position. Other times I put on my map and the continents in shadowland overlap each other that are in shadowlands. What is the problem.

A corrupted UI what your doing is basicly doing by a /reloadui is putting a bandaid on it you need to do a proper reset

To clarify, a /reloadui (or simply /reload which is the same thing) just reloads what you have. Corruption and all.
A full UI reset removes any possible corruption, and therefore any possible errors as well.
Once you have done a full UI reset, you can re-install your addons one by one to see which one is the culprit. Once you find the offending addon, re-install it fresh.
If it still causes problems after a full UI reset and a fresh addon install, then you’d want to direct your requests for further support to the addon author’s forum or comments page.

Still have the same issue, and I did not have any addons installed. This reset worked for now, but I came here just to clarify that this issue occurs even if one did not install any addon.
You need to file that as a bug report. QA doesn’t take reports from the Customer Support forum and the SFAs here are not liaisons with them.
Character data corruption can happen even if you don’t use addons.

Even if you don’t have addons - a proper reset can clear up nything that might have become corrupted.
