I’m in a Pagan community page…

So, I find your claim somewhat dubious.

Why are there religious communities at all in WoW?! Seriously… Idk about others, but I play WoW to take a break from the real world. Maybe some like having religious talks in WoW, how would I know, I am hardly religious, but seriously, if your gonna have any religious communities at all, might as well include other religions as well.

Goldenax, what’s the name of your in-game Community? Does it have the words “Pagan” or “Wicca” in it? I don’t understand what you mean by “community page”. CVould you please clarify?

Oh wait were you saying this thread is entertaining or just celebrating for the heck of it?

Good reason to eat and drink, and watch the steam rise!

I hope it doesn’t rise to high though. Threads like these can turn out very nasty, and I worry for those pagan people on this thread who are gonna get burned big time. I have family members who are both pagan and christian, and super pagan people and super christian people… don’t mix.

but basically the whole drustvar story is pagan stuff, al lthe witches and druids there and them trying to hang the waycrest daughter. IS that not enough representation?

I respectfully disagree. The whole drustvar story is stuff from people who are not pagan and have twisted the pagan ways into something horrible. Some people think the word “witch” means a green skinned, ugly woman, a servent of the devil, an evil being who concocts poisons and curses, when in fact it generally means a women who creates salves and tinctures from natural materials, and other variations of that.

Straps on.

Going to be a bumpy ride mon.

wicca has nothing to do with european paganism(of which, there are many different forms from the romans, greeks, gauls, picts, etc. etc.).

i’ve heard an actual satanist explain its origins, it was literally a modern creation by some guy that just wanted sex out of it.

you mean shaman like native americans had right?

One of my Facebook friends is a very devout Christian. He knows I am Pagan and I know he is Christian. We like and respect each other and don’t judge each other by our spiritual paths. Another friend and former student is trans and he’s a supportive friend and ally of hers. It’s all about mutual respect or at the very least tolerance. I am feeling neither from Blizzard at the moment and it is frustrating because I love WoW and have since it came out in 2004. I’ve taken breaks when I’ve become “addicted” to the game, so I’m very careful to make sure I have a life outside of WoW. I have a great spiritual life, but it’s not recognized nor approved by Blizzard. That hurts.

I’m sorry, I do not believe I was talking about satanism.

Red alert: the terms “witch” and “wiccan” are not interchangeable, as the two have entirely different morals… witches specifically are satanists and devil worshippers, much like saying “Warlock” to a wizard, one denoting the person’s evil “morality” and the other simply implying a gender. These terms are not synonymous… please stop using them as such…

Oh your right in that case. I was thinking of a Green Witch. (I may be wrong, only basing this stuff off of my pagan(ish) family.)

I believe a better term would be a “druid”, as druidism specifically deals with the natural aspect of wiccanism involving plant and animal and elemental magics…
