1 more week and we will see what they cooked up dude. next 1 to 2 weeks should be some cool stuff.
TBH I admire your faith and enthusiasm. I hope they bring something great, because I am going to be so sad if they crush that out of you.
I don’t believe in much anymore but sitting and not voicing what is important to us as rogues isn’t helping either.
We have got to try man, its all we can do. We can’t sit idly by and do nothing. I hope you join in on the testing as well my man and find stuff that you like.
I just care about rogue kind doing rogue stuff. All 3 should be doing well together. I don’t give a flip about meta or anything. No one should wish badly upon any class.
TBH most of the class reworks have been for the better.

Thing is it is a talent update. Not really a rework as they aren’t changing fundamental abilities.
Still excited for new talents and pathing though.
One subtlety rogue change I’d like to see is for the second shadow dance in the class tree to play a bigger role in dungeons and raids. Because right now you will have a dps loss taking it over other talents.
Always hated how a talent like the second shadow dance is 100% mandatory in pvp but not needed in dungeons and raids. Especially for shadow dance which is a class defining subtlety rogue ability. Seems kind of silly how the left side of the tree with thistle tea is a much better option for pve.
I’d like a bit more symmetry on how a class functions in pve and pvp. I know things can’t be exactly the same, but some symmetry would make the class bearable to play in both scenarios. At least make it slightly competitive instead of a 10k or more dps loss.
It feels very strange having that second shadow dance in pvp, and then when I go play pve I need to remember I only have one… and now I have to worry about using thistle tea which I didn’t have in pvp. It’s bad enough needing to deal with not having some of the pvp talents (which I understand), but it should not be that way with pve talents that can be chosen in both pve and pvp.
Well if SF gets removed and back to assassins then prob will change.

Im def w fan of damage out of dance to hold us over until next dance. Shadow techniques could use a look at to have a reliable pool instead of tea slamming.

I dig combining damage instead of relying on something too heavily. More options to customize the kit on what the rogue wants to emphasize on via choice nodes is probably going to happen.
Solution for that is easy tho.
Put Find Weakness in place of DS/MfD.
Get rid of Nightstalker
Move up Improved Ambush or something that could be made a 2 pointer.
Add something like Edge of Night effect or Blood of the Enemy or literally any substantial ability in place of Find Weakness.

Because apparently Rogue only has one single developer working on the class and the rework that was scheduled for 10.1.5 got pushed back because he had emergency family issues he had to take care of.
My problem with the neutral class tree is how they made the right side of it have extremely valuable talents for higher survivability but made it impossible for assassination rogues to benefit from any of it unless you want to have zero energy and weak dps! That’s one of the top reasons assassination is a bottom feeder spec in solo shuffle arena. They are virtually defenseless and easy to stay on target until they die. Most of those talents should have been in the middle of the tree for easier access to all specs.
my problem with neutral tree is i cant have tricks just to use it lol like a point for sprint reduced? monk has lust at a 30 sec cd lmao, umm points being for sap blind and evasion are just absurd, cloak just very limited to any variety in builds there practically 2 lol
