What
So you only pick up the faction based on… advantages?
Factions should be something you are aligned with. Maybe that is why you’re suffering, you chose thinking on perks instead of fun.

I didn’t choose alliance because of perks, I chose alliance because the community I came to classic with chose alliance. Most of that community fell apart with #somechanges. It’s just funny to see horde come here and cry about BG queues. You get their way then cry about alliance getting a perk for queueing BGs so you have even better queue times. If some makes a post about a change you disagree with it will ruin the game but a change that makes an entire faction obsolete is some how ok with you. Mind blowing.
Alliance cried about seal of blood, got their way, and horde didnt ‘get something in return’. It’s a ridiculous childish mentality to demand you get something whenever someone else gets something.
Then why are you complaining you have no advantages?
FFS you have lots of advantages. You had advantage throughout the entire Classic Era and you’re still here complaining like you were taken something from you. You’re a self-entitled spoiled player, which is the worst of this community.
Self-entitled nah? I don’t need dual spec or LFD, I am just saying if we can have boosts and HvH BGs why can’t we have dual spec or LFD? Both of those would also boost the player experience.
And we have 14 years of historical record of players saying they hate X feature and think it killed the game, thus Blizzard knows what features players don’t like and what decisions to not make.
Shoo, slippery slope spammer.
We saw what happened with “muh nochanges” in vanilla classic.
People raid logging to keep world buffs. Stacking raids with 20 DPS warriors. Hyper aggressive world PvP camping because of honor system being released with no battlegrounds. Horde having a giant advantage in AV because “no changes” to the spawn points. etc. etc.
Releasing a 15 year old solved game with no changes to a modern playerbase is always going to end in a disaster.
then why are you even arguing to begin with?
Guess what, that is the game. Go play something else if you don’t like. We deserve better players than the likes of you.
Because if we are getting some changes to make quality of life better why can’t we have the other quality of life changes?
Dual spec isn’t a solution because there is no problem that requires dual spec.
The game doesn’t need dual spec.
Stop trying to add things that are not needed in the game.
Thank you.
The game doesn’t need same faction BGs, the horde wanted them.
Stop defending some changes and then gate keeping changes because you don’t want it.
Actually, the game needs them, because due to alliance not queuing for PvP, more than 50% of the players were having huge queue for battlegrounds.
Blizzard fixed a problem for more than half of its player base.
Dual spec isn’t a solution, because there is no problem that requires dual spec as a solution.
Please… at least TRY to make a point. You’re not in my league for a discussion.
I don’t PVP because I am a tank. Dual spec would allow me to be resto for PVP. Therefore better queue times. You already stated queue times as a problem, I am offering a solution to make them even better!
Some of the best in slot pieces for feral druid comes from PvP. How come you’re not doing BGs for that?? O M G!!!
Feral is one of the most fearsome and helpful classes in Bgs actually.
Pay the re-spec.
Doubt.
Dual spec isn’t a solution for queue times, the right solution was same faction bgs.
Thank you for proving my point that you’re not only a bad player but clueless about how things work.
I did the BGs to get the key pieces I needed for res/def balancing. Now there is no point in doing it. Resto is more enjoyable experience in PVP for me. I like tanking in PVE and healing in PVP. I will admit that you are right and I will join most of the people I know that are just cancelling their sub. The game just isn’t fun for me anymore…there is nothing to gain from heroics, I only log in for raids because doing cooking and fishing dailies since release has given me enough surplus of income to support. Telling people to quit the game and lowering the population is probably your best option. That will make everything better. #somechangesisafallacy
Pay the re-spec
You get enough gold from 2 25’s and kara to basically pay for a respec plus you can get gear. Then there’s nothing to do for an entire week and you can do dailies or literally 1-2 quests a day or do a few hours of gathering or instance farming and probably have enough to cover most of your consumes, multiple respecs and change to spare but you need dualspec why?
What’s the difference in paying for the respec and paying for dual spec…both are gold sinks. #somechangesareafallacy
This is not an appeal to emotion… If you’re gonna quote logical fallacies, maybe make sure they are accurate.
However I do think “spec identity” is a bad argument because its mostly a subjective preference, and thus the opposite stance can easily be claimed for a moot point.
This just is not true. being limited in changing your spec/talents makes tbc/classic have Spec identity, sure you may have access to more abilities of your class, but they provide little value. As a druid, sure i can turn into a bear and taunt, but that doesn’t mean i will resemble a tank at all. I’m there as a resto druid.
However, in retail, changing specs is so easy and preset that I can easily swap between feral and balance to see which one performs better on a fight… between every pull. I’m there as a druid. This represent Class identity.
You really don’t know what this means.
The choice matters in context because there is a cost to change that choice. You literally can’t change as many times you want, because there is a cost. you will eventually run out, if you continue to change “As many times as you want”
This is a bad argument for a game that is a throwback to something over a decade old. The entire point is that people prefer the older “outdated” gameplay compared to the new retail gameplay.
Based on what you said previously, you can pay 50g an infinite amount of times for what would be an infinite gold sink. 1000g seems quite small compared to
50g x 2 = 100g a week
10 weeks is all it takes for respeccing to outpace dual spec as a gold sink for you. 10 weeks.
If i look at other dual spec threads, the majority of people disagree with you here. there is a common sentiment that its such a small cost, that people do it quite often.
There are a couple okay points in your post, but since there are so many bad ones, I feel like you’re in the negative for good points.
Good points, everyone who wants dual spec should just cancel their sub until Wrath.
