I want my refund and your site isn’t allowing it. why would my refund not work on the site? it’s a 1 year sub, you know, the one you guys switch over to when people choose the 1 month on the client. You’re fully aware of this of course, so, what’s causing the refund not to go through? I have not logged in at all.

No honey left for this company. That’s some great advice, but what’s the difference between a cell phone and the thing that I use to play the actual game, where I made my account, and have installed the launcher on? is being somehow anonymous raise the success rate of something that should work on my system?
Some people have better luck submitting refunds via cellphone using data or incognito mode.

Sometimes the ticket system has issues, and this seems like one of those times. Troubleshooting can involve trying to access it different ways. Sometimes cell phone data vs internet. Sometimes a VPN. Sometimes a different browser with different security features. Sometimes incogneto mode.
It is not something specific to you, or that transaction. It is an issue that happens to the whole ticket system sometimes. The refund system is partly automated, so who knows what is up with that. It should actually give you your refund fast without any fuss if the account is eligible (has not used any of the sub and the purchase is in the last 14 days).
You are the second person tonight with the same issue, so I assume it is def the system, and not you. This post helped the other player get their ticket posted.
Considering its a 1yr sub depending on how long its been active for it mite be done either.

No, they really want you to be able to play the version you want. Do NOT log in. That ensures no game time is used and you are 100% eligible for a refund when the system is working again.
You have 14 days from purchase to refund it as long as you don’t touch that game time.
You will be able to get through before then and get it refunded. Did you try the link in the post I quoted? That link on the PC should hopefully be more direct and work. The other person with your issue tonight was able to use it to put in their refund request for the same problem.
A good friend of mine already linked that. I was merely here to find other avenues, for better results, without the wait. Credit cards don’t care and will simply add the charge over to the next month’s bill, and ironically, it’s about that tiiimmeee.
Ah, I see. The CS forum is an Information Desk to help navigate the support system, explain policies, and explain account services. There are no GMs or Billing folks here so there is no faster way to accomplish this. Your only option is the ticket system either the automated portion if it is working, or the more direct link.
Hopefully they get it cleaned up for you relatively quickly! You did the right thing by immediately working on a refund and not logging in.
Don’t log into the game. If you avoid playing at all then CS should be able to process the refund. One additional note: The one year sub comes with bonus goodies, so if any of those were consumed (“opening” the pet/mount gift for example), that will nullify your ability to get a refund. Remember, if you claim any of the bonus goodies, including any that are for other games, as noted it will nullify the possibility of getting that refund.
Please use the link Mirasol provided. Yes, there’s a wait. You can’t avoid that as tickets are part of a queue system. As long as you don’t log in and don’t claim any of the bonus digital goodies for other games, you can get the refund. The longer you take to start the process the more likely it gets on the next bill instead of being cancelled (refunded) prior to that.
Feyrulisk, the automated systems can’t do all refunds. I see you’ve tried that 15 times with no success.
I also see you’ve finally put in a proper ticket which is in queue, as you should.
You will want to wait for that response.
