I put in a ticket over an hour ago and wondering how long its going to take. I wanted to buy my wife game time and gifted to her but im pretty sure i sent it to her old account that hasn’t be logged into in over 8 years. Because of blizzard’s privacy system I cant even verify if i correctly sent it to her account. She doesn’t have anything in her gifts and i can’t confirm what account i even sent it to so i put in a ticket for a refund.
How long does it take to get a response on an issue like this? Its frustrating because if i knew this would of happened i would of just bought it on her account myself.
Did you utilize the automated refund tool? Unclaimed gifts I should think would be a pretty black-and-white scenario.
How long ago did you gift it? Was the purchase successful?
Disregard, glad to see it went through.
Sorry, like clockwork as soon as i made this post my ticket was solved. Feel free to delete this post mod’s. Thank you.

If you used the self-help automated refund option, that is usually pretty quick. Did you look at your transaction history? The most recent purchase of game time appears to have been refunded already.
Check your email’s spam/junk folder to see if it was eaten. It usually takes a few days for any refund to process back to your method of payment.
For clarification, this is primarily due to regional laws regarding privacy, which we must abide by.

That’s how it works! The moment you say something about it, the universe snickers and it suddenly starts working. Glad to hear it, Radicaldruid.
