still bugged for me too once you click them they say thank you then vanish and instantly respawn on the ground again
It finally worked for me around 12:30PM CST I had to abandon the quest. I TP to dalaran and turned off all my addons then back to valdrakken and accepted the quest and it worked

FYI, hotfix notes for today say this is fixed. So it should work after the server maintanance today (10AM-11AM eastern time).
