REFlex problems

Everyone likes this addon, but I noticed that if you /reload before you log out, anything you have added to the addon since your last logout is wiped. Seems it only saves on logout.

This means you can rig it to look however you want, need it to look like you win all the time? logout after a win and /reload after a loss.

If you are missing data from it, this is probably why.

Do you mean /reload to reload the UI auto-wipes your session’s data in REFlex?

This sounds like the beginnings of a conspiracy to discount people’s reflex stats…

thats exactly it.

I’ll try when I get home, but are you able to replicate this happening or did it happen once?

i’ve done it twice now, the first time i noticed it was after a whole afternoon of playing, i lost like 10 ebg wins in a row so i don’t particularly like replicating it, but i’ll do a confirmation to see if its replicateable.

Could it be when you do it?

Known caveats:

  • LDB feed is not updated during the match.

I cant paste links yet so

if it were just a matter of reloading too quickly after a match, you wouldn’t lose multiple bgs. I’m pretty sure it only hard saves on exit. so when you /reload, you reload the old DB over the new one.

Idk I’ve definitely /reloaded before and my reflex was still up. Like between these 300 Bgs I’ve done I have /reload I mean. I’ll test when I go back in from my smoke. SS before and after.

ima laugh if you get one before me. this horde queue is painfully long now.

That’s interesting to hear, I was under the impression that the tinsert api functioned the same on reload as well as logout. I know it always fails from crashes, and I’m assuming disconnects.

Ideally Blizzard would allow us to show our BG history and stats on the armory.

Well I /reloaded and all my info was still there. I never logged out

Ha ha ha!

(It’s a sad laugh cuz horde queue times are the pits)

Yikes! I know I’ve used /reload a couple times now - only to try to fix the disappearing siege on the IoC map - but had not noticed any REFlex data was wiped. I wouldn’t use /reload for any other reason except a legit one though.

Also, I think you have always been able to reset your data. For example on this toon I did a reset upon hitting 120, because i want data for max level only.

As with anything, data is always open to “tampering” by whoever controls the data; but I wouldn’t say “tampering” for the purpose of being able to look at a particular set of data (in my case, the max level bracket) is intended to rig anything.

Good to know! I didn’t want to try it myself. lol

Did it again right after my sad, sad DWG loss right now and it’s still there.

i was able to replicate it:

after losing AV:

lets make that loss go away with a /reload:

edit: “you can’t include links in your post” F you too blizzard.

Neat, thanks a ton for showing us this!

Ive never had that happen unless i do a fresh reinstall of the addon itself .Which i had to do simce i got a desktop and not a laptop anymore . Still ia like the laptop just a bigger screen now . Later all i need to do is upgrade tower . Anywho all mine are still there for full season Since i started playing ahain on this new pc . Yea  it changes per toon . Shocker :o

Ill get mine later and lol you cannot rig it .
