The xp doesn’t have to be anything crazy but don’t make it so low it’s almost nothing. It could be the same xp rate as leveling up with a regular group. Just want to play with my friends who are on level 37-42 right now but if I go in their group I am ruining it for them, they get almost no xp.

I would probably like the option to be scaled down would be great to help other people without ruining xp.

Yes a way to scale down to play with lower levels would be great. It’s a good way so friends can play together without bringing back all the boosting shenanigans. Most modern (and even not so modern) MMO’s have some way to do this. Even ancient Everquest has a shroud system.

they put the xp penalty in to prevent boosting (high level character soloing dungeons for a group of low levels) so they won’t just boost the xp back up to normal gain.
but yes we need a way to scale ourselves down to play with friends, retail has this feature and its pretty good.
You aren’t ruining it for them. Yeah, they arent getting xp from mob kills, but there are quests and item drops they could probably use. And you are spending time with friends.
Don’t let efficiency get in the way of fun, especially with friends <3

They made this change to kill boosting. People wanted the change, now that they have it they don’t want it
Some people wanted that change and blizzard listened to a small echo chamber…just like RDF.
Personally, I think they should revert the changes they made, as I think it effects legitimate play more than Bots/RMT.
Just my 2 cents.

Your on mankrik and cant find a group? As far as mommy blizz goes making the stealth boost and twink nerfs wasnt my favorite decision, I just hated the rolling booster spam in every channel. Your the one hijacking the thread and interjecting the cliche Rdf chides hoping to derail the convo. What does your guild do? Just raid log? Whos fault is it that you chose to join a non active guild.

Not all boosters even charged. When bored and in SW I had that classic social communal spirit on level caps.
I’d see 3 lowbies chiiling by stocks or RFC. I’d run them for free.
Same as others did for me when leveling. I like to keep good karma flowing. So free carries for like 20 minutes or so.
Something something players won’t learn. There is nothing to learn in RFC, mines or stocks. They are not exactly the most mechanic heavy runs where pathing is essential to success.
Most running them legit…have 2 maybe 3 buttons to press even due to all they have by level lol.
