You keep misinterpreting what they said so it can fit your deranged agenda.
Then that’s the reason they did it
yeah they spent time and money to make dragon riding slower
You keep saying this like it means anything. Making dragonriding slower is as simple as dialing back the movement speed scaling. An intern could do it in 5 minutes, and that’s being generous.
tradition!
and because we’re Adamses!
but why do they want us to spend more time travelling through the world in the first place?
Because it’s their game to do with as they wish, if that’s such a problem then maybe you should stop playing it
I suspect it’s because of the old world ceilings and not wanting players to hit them making dragonriding less fun.
but if they want to keep making money, should they not make the game more enjoyable so that people continue to give blizzard their money?
Have you tried reading the entire quote instead of just the partial bit that you keep using?
They did. I’m having a blast with dragonriding in the old world. It’s a shame that you aren’t
would you not be having more fun if you were able to dragon ride at the maximum dragon riding speed?
That’s roughly to scale. Dragonriding being reduced by a small amount is to make sure that the world can properly load in whilst still being fast enough that it feels like proper dragonriding.
Edit: so this was wrong, but overall the point is still largely the same regardless.
When the DF zones are roughly 6 times the size and we can fly through them as fast as we can … yes. Zones that are 1/6th will require us to slow down our mounts.
You wouldn’t even notice the difference unless they told you of this. Dragonriding is just as enjoyable in the old world as it is on DF, specifically because of the size difference.
- Good. If you don’t want to play the game you probably shouldn’t.
- They have also never said they wanted to waste anyone’s time, that’s just on your head. And your friends’ as well I suppose, if they did it for the same reason and are like you. But I’m not sure imaginary friends really count for much.
What did you expect? The zones are smaller.
I made this prediction way before they even said dragon riding was coming to old zones.
i expected to be able to dragon ride at the same speed that i have been for the past year… ok look at it this way.
waking shores is a smaller zone than azure span, why did blizzard not implement a feature that makes our dragon riding speed slower in waking shores than it would be in azure span?
also think of this:
Northrend is a MUCH smaller zone than eastern kingdoms and kalimdor.
when cata was released, why did blizzard not increase the speed of flying in kalimdor and eastern kingdoms to accomodate the larger zones?
This right here.
I flew from Org all the way to Uldum in under 7 min.
Over an extra 2 seconds to fly the next zone over? I can say pretty confidently that those people’s opinions hold little value
Probably not, because as I said the speed lose is so insignificant I don’t even notice it
i mean, that may be your opinion, but if the speed loss is genuinely insignificant as you say, then why did blizzard take all this extra time and money to reduce the speed if the difference is not noticeable?
Alright well it’s clear logical thought is a foreign concept to you, so I’ll do us both a favor here…
It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact.
You’re talking about someone taking a few minutes, at most, to make this change. Stop acting like it’s some monumental task to change the numbers a bit.
