Reduced dragon riding speed in old world content

No, what you’ve just proposed goes too far.

so you’re telling me that dragon riding on fictional creatures and playing an undead race is ok but sky-swimming on a mount goes too far?

fun fact: sky swimming is more realistic as it portrays the way that airplanes fly.

You’ve generally captured my feelings on it, yeah. Check out my other post though, it’s got a lot of details about how they could categorize mounts to still have the fantasy ones.

sorry but that is simply not a valid opinion…

there is no logical reason why you find some fictional things to be completely fine but then want to get rid of other things in the game for no reason other than they are not realistic.

Okey-dokey, have a great day!

if you want realism in the game, then everything has to be realistic… you don’t get to arbitrarily pick and choose what things can be fictional and what things must be realistic.

there’s not actually any good reason it should be reduced. it’s a ridiculous arbitrary thing and anybody saying otherwise is full of it including blizz devs lol

Good lord, why is this thread still going.

thank you, very-well said… i agree 100%

Honestly if you really believe the 15% makes a huge difference then you have not actually used it outside of the dragon isles. Unless you have an addon that tells you your exact speed it is hardly noticeable. With how much smaller all the zones are it takes next to no time to travel essentially anywhere you’d like to. Also, every dragonriding mount is also a 5 seater mount with ride along enabled, and you guys are still complaining.

5 seater giga fast flying almost everywhere and you’re still complaining.

It’s pretty wild. I can’t believe people care about this.

well what are your thoughts on the fact that blizzard devs are spending all of their time reducing mount speeds to ensure authenticity instead of balancing the classes?

Oh you know, so Bula can continue to stir the pot. :dracthyr_lulmao:

I am used to watching youtube when I fly from Org to Bilgewater Harbor.

DR got me there too fast.

It took about 3 seconds to change this.

How much class balance do you think could happen in those 3 seconds?

Does this also imply only 1 thing at a time should be worked on?

I don’t care.

ok quote me your source inside blizzard that gave you a first-hand explanation that reducing the mount speeds took “only 3 seconds.”

People have a hard time understanding that not everyone at blizzard works on the same things. Someone can make this change in a couple of minutes like you said, and there can still be a team working on other stuff, and another on other stuff. Some people cannot comprehend that they are not exclusive

well where is the class balancing then if they have so many teams working on different projects at the same time?

Once you quote me your source that this detracted from class balance.

did you see any recent class balancing? there ya go.
