A lot of people recently have been talking about reducing the cost of respecting in WoW, and I personally think it’s a really bad idea. #NoChanges

Its way low in the beta, but this is obviously for testing purposes. It needs to go back in the regular game. This doesn’t need to be changed.

Oh, I thought it was maybe permenate so that’s why i thought it might be a good suggestion to keep it.

Can we all stop making silly random personal requests for change to vanilla and get behind the spirit of the project?

It’s Classic, authentic, vanilla, warts and all.

i think it’s just the top 1% that doesn’t want it changed, 99% of level 60 players will likely never even see ragneros and would rather not grind gold for pointless respect.

Don’t need to grind gold for respect, just earn it.

I wish they would reduce it I remember as a druid it was ruff leveling and doing dungeons. I respecced so many times to make it easier finding groups for dungeons but then if you wanna solo quest at all you have to respec. Maybe give a privilege to healing classes.

its not silly or personal… they’re already changing a bunch of stuff and i think this would be a good one to change aswell.

For one, they’re making every item in it’s 1.12 state which is not authentic. And auto-loot.

Vanilla was about asking for changes. Would you prefer 100’s more streamer posts? This post makes me nostalgic for the old forums.
Some of the people who recently joined us don’t know about the old school classic discussion forums. Straight savages back then. The good old days…

How can you even put a monetary value on respect? It is such a rare quality these days. I think it is reprehensible that anyone thinks they can just buy respect in a video game. :pensive:

The whole point of the game is to make choices that you cant just easily change. A reason current retail has gone so downhill is because anyone can do anything with the click of a button.

This makes no sense. 1.12 IS Vanilla. It’s a known state. Classic goes up to Naxx. It’s all known. Asking for things that didn’t exist during that state is just counter to the spirit of what Classic is.
