Fastest people leveling took 9-10hrs, now put a casual your talking 24hr playtime and that’s just for one. Add all the alts people enjoy playing these days and as our community is older. We don’t enjoy leveling we’ve done probably 10+ times over the past 20 years of WoW nor have the time to invest before the raids open up.

It didn’t take them 9-10 hours. The fastest people took less than 4 or 5.
Imo they should let the exp stay the same for now, and in a few months they should bring JJ back.

Your going to lose your casual player base by then. This adjustment needs to happen ASAP. There isn’t a single person it took only 4-5hrs let alone the whole hardcore grinders. but that player base is the smaller % of classic. so your just leaving the other 95% of player base to die off before even hitting 90!

I was casual way back when MoP first came out. Never touched raids, and barely did any PvP. The long leveling times never bothered me. If casuals are going to quit, it’s not because of that. They would probably quit because of burnout from the dailies.

You can’t compare 15 years ago to now. You are now 15 years older, you should have more responsibilities then sitting on WoW. If we could go back in time we would still reduce XP. Leveling isn’t fun, the story/lore is. Since this is old story we dont need to full deep dive into it since we already know.

It’s definitely pretty slow…
I have limited playtime due to RL and I’ll definitely be a little late hitting 90. But it literally just came out. I’ll take the original experience and quest through the zones again and take a little time. That’s the whole point of classic anyways.
They will probably reduce the xp needed at some point.

I don’t understand the rush. MoP hasn’t been current content for 11 years. Enjoy the quests. When TWW launched, I just did all the quests. Leveling was a byproduct.

Most rush to 90 then can fly on their alt right away, then they enjoy the game.
I do think the xp is too high tho.
Last level was like 28m xp and quests give 215k rofl.

i love how people like this forget we had RAF since wotlk giving 300% exp + grant-a-level so these versions are a far cry from the original experiences we had in the actual classic versions.

JJ will release halfway through 5.1 and you’ll complain leveling is too slow. The exp will be nerfed in 5.3 and you’ll still complain leveling is too slow. You’ll have nerfed exp and JJ at the end of 5.4 and you’ll STILL complain leveling is too slow
Just drop the act and say you want them to remove leveling entirely. Still ridiculous, but at least you won’t be dancing around it anymore
