No RDF = Enjoy spending your time flying from dungeon to dungeon instead of playing
No RDF = No teleport back into the world, enjoy resuming your farm/level route
Wrath heroics are piss easy. They are beyond a joke. Let’s see what people say when it takes longer to find a group and get to the instance than the instance itself. The sheer stupidity and ignorance is beyond staggering.
Part of the problem with no rdf is bads who don’t necessarily realize they’re bad. They avoid inviting someone running arms/incite or something similar, because they think it’s a zdps memespec. The reality is, though, that warrior might do just as much overall damage as anyone else you bring, depending on the player’s skill level and what phase we’re in. Blizzard games are plagued with dumpers who think they’re gaming gods, and they love to only leave the gate open for specs they think THEY could be successful with, while ignoring the fact that they’re actually mediocre gamers at best.
No RDF pretty much just boils down to poor game development. For such a killer of the game they sure seem to keep it in pvp, it is pretty much the solution to wintergrasp, but somehow it kills the game in 5 mans? It sure is all over the place in shadowlands and will continue into dragonflight too.
Just kind of odd that in wotlk, with 5 mans only, it kills the game. You see what I mean. Just kind of odd. Then the total lack luster of a tool kinda shows me they weren’t even prepared for it. Almost like they were like… hey this will trend on the twitter line of thinking in game development but then had nothing to really back it up.
To be honest, I don’t care about the running or porting, I just hate looking for a group via chat and every group sets ilvl/ach req’s and has something on HR. Just make me a group finder, don’t need all the other crap.
The dude is a flake. Him cutting RDF is proof enough of this. And the “fix” added to the beta is so crap-terrible lol. It just shows how little they will be trying with WOTLK classic for the life of it.
To further your input on this I played back in original and yes, the elitist gods treated others like unworthy scrubs. If you were from certain servers, you got kicked before first pull. If you couldn’t go as fast as everyone else (no matter the reason, handicapped, slow internet ect) you got kicked from group. All of this caused by the toxicity of the community that Blizzard had to deal with since people got a 30 min debuff after getting kicked before they could que again and they did nothing wrong. I already see this same behavior in many of Wraths beta dungeon group’s, I could only imagine how this would carry over into live since Beta is a very small percentage of actual people playing in classic, yet the behavior is 7 of 10 dungeon groups. Sorry but not everyone wants to run dungeons like they are in a M+15 on a timer some play classic to get away from that mentality and shouldn’t get treated like a scrub because they can’t do a dungeon in 7 minutes which is how most of the RDF groups of elitists would treat them.
As far as I am concerned the community has brought on the lack of the RDF themselves by the way they treat people of less skill or ability in game.
I hope that if we all keep posting enough maybe DF will be implemented hopefully with uldar or something (being realistic). These dummies are hellbent on trying there new garbage LFG tool.
I said this elsewhere but, if this was something you experienced often, it seems the common denominator is you. My experiences with RDF were overall mostly pleasant. Certainly as much or more so than hand crafted groups.
I see this a lot of time, people coming on here talking about every RDF group being toxic, makes me wonder who the actual toxic people are. Be better and you’ll experience better.
So have I and it wasn’t in an RDF group. bad player behavior is going to happen in any system. Scapegoating one system while ignoring that the examples all happen in current grouping is really disingenuous. Almost like the issue isn’t the tools themselves but what players do with them.
