Is a hell of a drug… people go nutty if you mention rolling on it for OS. Lol Im holy main prot OS and I am not trippin if I get it but even when I mention to roll for OS if tank dont need they get angry… got kicked from a group because of it lol tank didnt want risk competition.
Tank the dungeon if you want it for OS.

Roll on the gear you are performing the role of in the group. If no one needs it then take it for OS.

Because not everyone keeps their word on the “wont roll if tank needs it”. Plenty of people still roll need if the tank does because why not, servers are so big you will never see them again anyhow.
Which is what I said… people get up in arms even mentioning it.

Just got the sword on my warrior and I didn’t even know it’s pre-raid bis until my group told me
Hybrids rolling on all specs is BAD TASTE. You roll on the spec you are performing in that dungeon.
If no one needs it, THEN its up for OS grabs.

It’s going to need to be the way forward now, since people don’t respect the “roll for the ROLE you came as” I know as I start heroics now, we won’t be bringing competition for any hotly contested item, no matter what role/spec the people are. Zero plate dps allowed (which is funny because the non-plate ones get snatched up real quick out of the LFG tool) So many DKs, Pallys, and even warriors, no one wants loot competition anymore.
How am I in the wrong when I asked if it was up for OS roll and got kicked for it lol. I was being nice and asking first before assuming and just rolling. All im here to say is peope are going nuts over the damn sword.
this is why you don’t say anything until it drops and see the tank doesn’t need it.

Edit: I’m not saying you would necessarily, but enough people do that others would rather not take a chance with a stranger.

I feel that… most groups ive run with are Pally/Dk filled… I see rogues more then I do casters these days and Hunters are dime a dozen it seems.

Got it on my Warlock just for AFK spec.

It’s cause all the first raids are going to require pre-raid bis to be taken until content is easily cleared, then they’ll bring lesser geared people.
