Hey there, I was curious to know if I do recruit a friend and use wow time cards as the subscription and load them all on there at once if I instantly get the rewards. I know in the past that I worked like that with the touring rocket, but I recently read something that stated it went month to month with this one.

Rewards this time are not instant, no. One reward per recruit per month.
So if you only recruited one account and put all 12 months on it, you’d get the rewards over the span of a year.
Two accounts with six months, you’d get two rewards a month, culminating in all twelve in six months.
Three accounts will get all rewards in four months, four accounts in three months, six accounts in two months, etc.
The old system did, but the new system has entirely revamped rewards and qualifications. As Ekon mentioned you can earn one reward per recruit per month. So you could add 12 months of game time to a single recruited account, but the rewards would apply to the recruiting account one month at a time.
Just to cover this, you can recruit multiple accounts and that would work to allow you to earn the rewards faster, you can have up to 10 recruits at a time.
However, each Recruit a Friend link can only be used up to 4 times, and you can only generate a link once every 30 days.
