Reconsider the nerfs

Mage nerfs went way too far, devs should reconsider these seriously. Thought they didn’t want classes going from really good to really bad? Remember that was said in a few interviews. This latest batch of mage changes is so disrespectful to the player’s time. Thanks!

I agree, I don’t mind lower dmg, but i don’t like playing spellslinger and i don’t like my rotation changed midseason and my other two specs suck even harder. Whats the point of ptr if the balances changes leave the game wildly unbalanced when they go live.

am i missing something? frost mage is still completely broken in pvp

It didn’t though. Every metric pvp, raid and mplus all have mage above the 50% mark.

You might want to check Warcraftlogs for your raid statistics again. Granted this week’s logs might just be worthless due to the sheer amount of bugs most classes had to deal with, but it still puts all 3 specs below the halfway mark.

I just looked at the current and no that’s not the case. 2 out of 3 are yes.

Couldn’t agree more! DEVS revert the Mage nerfs now!

Yes you are missing a lot

You are very wrong, can you read charts? All three mage classes are in the bottom third and frost is dead last.

I see 2 mage specs in top 5 and none at dead last that looks like warrior and aug in dead last.

Thats October 15th bro, you know like two weeks ago before the massive nerfs? It litterally says so at the top in bold font.

Who actually pvps?

Arcane needed tuning. I think people are more upset playing the rng slot machine of spellslinger arcane over Sunfury. I personally enjoy frost over others, I feel the design of frost is in a much better state.

h ttps://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/statistics/38#sample=7&dataset=95 this is the most current do you see mage on the bottom as you claim? Out of 26 specs the highest mage is sitting at 17 that is still in the medium. Not the high end or the low end but the medium.

The word you’re looking for is median.

Im not the one that made the claim in the first place, I just enjoy pointing out when someone thats so sure of themselves cant even produce the correct data to support their point. Regardless, if you think that mage going from the top three (a spot it enjoyed for over two months) down to bottom half to bottomto bottom third over the course of 5 days then you dont care about balance, you just want to see the class suffer. And thats not even going into the fact that they butchered the rotation. I wouldnt even care about the rankings being what they are if they gave the old rotation back. The current iteration is a janky rng mess that requires 3rd party addons to try and navigate correctly. Thats wrong.

That was the word I was looking for.

No that’s just how the balance works. Sometimes you’re at the top and loving it like mages did for the last 2 month plus some and other times you be sitting down the bottom or somewhere in the middle. It rotates constantly that’s the balance of it. Nothing stays on top or bottom forever its just a matter of how long or short a stay you have at those destinations.

Blizzard literally told us they weren’t going to do that crap this frequently, let alone change a classes’ core gameplay, which theyve done to us 4 times since the original ptr. Admit it, your glad mage got dumpsterd because you think we are all a bunch of premadonnas. Its ok.

It has been over 2 months that is not exactly frequently.

No I am not glad but I am also not crying over spilt milk. It happens my main that I have played that last countless expansions resto druid is in a horrible place and it sucks but I just moved on until that’s no longer the case.

Two months in an expac that is likely to last 2 plus years. You need to redefine what you consider frequently lol.
