How do I apply for a refund?
The restriction is usually lifted within 24 hours (48 hours at the most) after you apply the boost.
If you want a refund, you will need to request one through the automated system.

Just be aware, that the boosted character will more than likely be locked and will remain so until another boost is applied to it.

I don’t care how long the duration is for. It restricting me from enjoying the game.
Just have to warn you about a few things, just to be safe. If you’ve put any time into playing the boosted character, that diminishes the chances of a refund. All sales are final, it’s what we agree to. That you didn’t read the fine print about restrictions and what not may not be grounds for a refund.
I do wish you luck, but refunds are not always given as the GMs have to abide by restrictions and guidelines put down by the Powers That Be.
The restrictions shouldn’t be in fine print. It should be displayed right before boosting a character. A warning would be nice.
Yeah, I probably won’t qualify for a refund. But I’m currently pissed with Blizzard. Great start for new players.
Perhaps the wrong terminology on my part, but that screencap I grabbed was very easily seen on the Boosted Character Service listing. It’s pretty prominent in all of the listings for the boost.
It’s a restriction, yes. But it’s for 24 hours. And it’s really the only true restriction. The boosts were created so that people could dive right into current content. A day of leveling or whatnot and the restriction will be lifted and you can do whatever you’d like. They had to put it in place to keep bots from using boosted characters illegally. It’s a cost we all have to endure to try and curb those buggers.
I do hope you at least put in the request, the worst thing they can do is deny you. It may even take that 24 hours for the response time. Either way, I do hope it works out for you, and you don’t let this one thing keep you from enjoying yourself. I personally straddle Moon Guard and WRA, and it’s a good choice you made if this is your boosted character.

They will not refund any boosted purchases once you USE the boost. That I can promise you.
That isn’t necessarily true. A refund for a boost is certainly an exception, but it has happened. It is extremely conditional and time-sensitive as some of the others have mentioned.
Nichael, I am sorry for the frustration but the restrictions are in place to allow for purchases to be verified before allowing access to aspects of the game that are often abused/exploited. It is only a 24-hour restriction. We do provide a warning about those restrictions.
I purchased the Epic Package, I didn’t purchase the boost individually, when I boosted a character in the create-a-character creation screen and decided to boost a character, It did not notify me of any restrictions. I stand corrected.
