Hi I order mounts and pets recently 1-3 days ago and would like to get the difference back in the money as u guys just announce the 50 percent off sale yesterday a which got me tick off because u guys did the sale 1-3 days after I purchase them and gave up on the sale happening when I purchase them then all sudden 1-3 days after your sale pops up. So my ? is how do I try to get the difference back instead of paying the full amount that a I did and get the half price instead. I want to keep the mounts and pets that I got not returning them just wanted the difference in money and again my ? is how do I file this under ticket when I open a ticket or do I need to call Blizzard. I don’t know whether to go under account when I open a ticket or under payments although not looking for a refund because I am not returning the pets or mounts just want the difference in the amount that I paid when I was looking for the 50 percent off sale and it happens one to three days after I made the purchase.
I’m afraid we are unable to refund the difference on a recent purchase. If you wish to request a refund for a recent purchase you’ll want to do through our Support Site under the Refund option.
Click on the dropdown (where your BattleTag is listed on this page) select Support. Then select Get Help > World of Warcraft > I would rather categorize the issue > Payments > Refunds.
The system should scan your recent purchases and offer the option to refund them if they qualify. If they do not qualify for automatic refund you may still be able to get one, but you’ll need to submit a ticket.

It’s a bummer for sure, I gifted my friend a $25 mount last year and THE NEXT DAY the Christmas sale hit and it was half price
I’ve learned to just be patient and wait for the traditional year-end sale to hit, I don’t know why I convinced myself last year that it wasn’t going to happen.
Thankyou for responding, but as I said not happy with this and personally think this is mess up and that u guys should make the difference if someone recently purchase it just before it went on sale. I mean if u went toa store or got something on line and u saw it went on sale within a day or 3 etc u would try to get the store or online website to give u the difference because it good customer service business to not say haha u got blank and we aren’t giving u the difference just because we put it on sale the following day or two or three.
We cannot provide the difference because that is not how our systems work, it is not physically possible to provide a partial refund.
Most stores have policies regarding sales and items/services purchased within a certain time frame before the sale went live, we do to. No one is saying “haha”, we’re simply stating that we cannot provide the difference. It is why I recommended putting in a refund request. If your purchase qualifies for it, that should be granted.
Simply request a refund, as per the instructions Vrakthris posted above, and once you have your refund (they will take away the items), then you can repurchase at the discounted price.
It’s just the way many credit card systems work. You have to do a refund and a repurchase.
