Receiving error when trying to put ticket in

I’m trying to see if I can recover a really old account of mine I used to play on. When I try to put in a ticket I keep getting the following error/page:

" Something went wrong on our end An error has occurred. This may be a temporary error, so please try again later."

I’ve tried multiple difference browsers, computers, and different networks.

If it helps at all I’m selecting:

  1. World of Warcraft
  2. Tell us about the issue
  3. I still need help
  4. Contact us

When I click the Contact us button I get the error.

Page I’m starting on:
https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow

Have you tried going through the categorization options?

Recovering a World of Warcraft Account - Blizzard Support

That would be the best place to start.

I do see three other Battlenets this may be - so being as specific as possible would be helpful in your ticket.

Yea, I already had that page open when I was writing the ticket up. I was able to submit the ticket if I selected bnet support instead of World of Warcraft. Not sure why, that at least got it through.

Because accounts are battle.net entities, not World of Warcraft ones. You’d use the same recovery process even if you didn’t play WoW (for instance, only playing Overwatch 2).

But most players don’t realize that Battle.net is not World of Warcraft.
