Reasons why gnomes are cool?

I’m just using the WoW high elf definition, unlike some forum users.

We even play as a High Elf for parts of the heritage quests that reinforces Blood Elves as the continuation of that story as the playable High Elf race, it’s their main theme and story will continue to reflect that.

The new Blood Knight set gems match the shade of blue eyes for me too.

Hmm. Strange. When you click it, it says Blood Elf.

There are some High Elves in the mage district though.

I bet it comes back after they clean out the trash.

Sometimes, when large threads get lots of derailing, they get moved out of sight while the mods sweep up then it gets put back.

It happens occasionally with the LGBT+ Megathread from time to time as trolls come in and raise a ruckus.

I’m just referencing your own source…which is counter to your point.

and reading half a sentence.

And we all know the reason why they took up that name. To honor their fallen. They were the High Elven kingdom of Quel’Thalas just prior to the Scourge going in and butchering so many people. Ofc this would cause significant changes, including their name. Doesn’t make them any less High Elves though?

Those who had already left Quel’Thalas prior to the invasion remained with their old name, that’s all.

Meh, they’re just trollin’. They know.

Anyways, High Elf has a meaning in WoW. Like I said, mage district elves, etc. etc.

And that’s on purpose so that when we talk about WoW we have any idea what’s going on. Otherwise. Nobody actually misunderstands unless you’re on these forums though.

Unless you’re speaking in context.

worgens have been asking for tails for years
but nah we get more elf stuff

Nope, that’s the whole sentence.

Here’s the next one.

Confirmed, Blood Elves are high elves.

I wish more people would recognise this
Blood elves are not only high elves
They ARE the high elves

They are 90% of the population

The high elves on the alliance are not what high elves are now.
They have their own story and caring about it is fully valid.
Weve seen lots of them.

But we know the story.
I hate when people pretend its otherwise

There you go.

Mmm. The High Elves on the Alliance are literally what the High Elves are now?

The rest changed their name to Blood Elves.

So if the High Elves that are the current High Elves aren’t the High Elves, then what are they?

I think we’re kinda overanalysing this lol

Both Blood elves and Void elves are High elves by definition of genetics, ancestry and history. And you also have the freedom in choosing how you want your void / high elf to be politically aligned, be it in Stormwind as a Mage or in Highvale Lodge as a Hunter.

What is annoying about high elves is that they are high elves.
That is their race.

So when they called themselves blood elves they did not stop being their own race.

But basically if you care about rts lore, then you want to play a blood elf.

If you care about what the high elves that did not change their name, and care about what we have seen in wow, then you probably want a void elf

That’s the point of the trolling.

Most High Elves changed their name to Blood Elves.

But High Elves are still around. So if we’re talking WoW definitions and you say High Elf, then you’re referring to Alliance High Elves.

You have to add context in order for it to mean Blood Elf because the shared WoW definition of High Elf is talking about Elf Mages in stormwind.

So if you’re trolling you just do it to confuse the issue. Which seems really rude because it’d hit someone who was neurodivergent pretty hard. But… then again, that’s trolling for you. It’s about hurting people.

Because like I said, technically a Highborne Night Elf, is also a High Elf.

The lead High Elf was a Night Elf before the boat ride.

That is what you were originally responding to.

Still high elves, just a political group. Not a personal definition, just the definition.

You’re welcome to measure their femurs if you’re still unsure.

I have much to say to what you said
But instead i want to say this

Do not think of visna as a troll
They care very deeply about elves
All elves

They are saying what they believe
There is zero trolling there

We’ll see. They may just be cleaning it up a bit. If not then yes probably.

Unless blizzard tells me no. Lol
