So, there are no ongoing problems (from a bug/glitch perspective) with the game that have been going on for years?

there are a few which persist… but there are also a bunch of things which people seem to think are bugs, which actually aren’t.

How is this related to portals?

Just parts of the same larger picture: More Quality of Life downgrades that cram more PASSIVE / INACTIVE time into the game in between doing things you want to do.

Occasionally I’ve had the instancing not work, and found myself sharing my farm with a complete stranger - gave us a good laugh.

Definitely this, downgrade placed in a weird spot in Org (I be Horde so I dunno the Ally experience. I still think the mage tower seems awkward.). I have continued to avoid Orgrimar as much as I can. Really I have little reason to go there now that I have found everything I need away from it. This ‘we are bringing Caverns of Time Portal back eventually’ does not have me hyped.

It’s like someone taking a sledgehammer, coming in, destroying your nice top of line fridge and it’s completely well stocked contents…

…and finally replacing it several months later with a mini fridge with that really nice gallon of milk that you buy.

Then acting like they should get the Nobel peace prize for doing some great service for humanity.

But then they get a really puzzled look on their face when you point out that the fridge is nothing like the one they wrecked in the first place…and the rest of the contents of the previous fridge still need to be replaced.

“But the gallon of milk is the exact brand and size of the one I smashed before! Aren’t you happy I replaced it?”

Same. I don’t have a solid state drive in my system, and it can take from half a minute to four just to get past the Orgrimmar loading screen.

For them to go and make it “Grand Central Station” for all access to other expansions was just rude.

Glad I kept engineering.

I sure never heard anyone complain about that either. The other thing that person does not consider is that the game has progressed since MOP, as people expects game to do. Sure people did not complain about having to travel to the farm back then. However, I bet if they had put a portal from the shrine to the farm, and then removed it, people would complain.

I always enjoyed being on the farm when suddenly, some paladin’s consecration appears and kills all my chickens. Good times.

Also, we’re talking two trips. TWO. The farm, and isle of thunder. that everyone had to make for the respective content for the patch. The farm wasn’t very far out of the way and you could still eliminate the few extra seconds of travel if you didn’t want to fly there without losing out getting back to your shrine.

Unlike Portalgate, where multiple instances of convenient travel were pointlessly removed by the killjoys who insist on gutting quality of life features rather than creating them…just to pad their continuously falling metrics.

The Alliance Shrine is closer to the tiller farm, and I use that EVERY DAY. Alliance is favored in this case in regards to the placement of the faction shrines in the Vale.

The onus is on the person who makes a claim to provide proof.
Pointing out you are using ridicule to back up a ridiculous claim is not ridiculing you.
Pointing out that, considering your treatment of others, your name is inappropriate is not ridiculing you either.
