And in the social media era, when you say EVERYONE, you mean EVERYONE . Which would include people who might be thinking about playing this game but aren’t sure if it would be fun.

I feel so bad for alliance. I have one alliance main to farm rares on an RP server (stupid aeonaxx) but I understand that event is just going to be a huge pain for them. I bet someone will say it’s once a year, blah blah, get over it.
A lot of cool items drop from the box you get. Pets, toys (I think), and of course that SUPER sweet flame of rag appearance. So the likelihood of people doing it on multiple toons is very high.

Right, I figured that’s about all you could come up.
You know, if Blizz had actually done it like this, I might have been okay with the portals being wonked up. I mean, there would have been a story to go with it–and maybe something for us to do.
