Rearranging and Removing Portals

@Blizz devs, Ion, Kaivax, what is up with not acknowledging your subscribers opinions? You treat your players like peons! My sub shall remain expired, until you quit acting like arrogant satchels of kodo poodoo, and treat your players right!

This is an insult I shall have to remember.

That made me look for a list of rare and amusing insults.

You my dear friend are a lickspittle!

You’re not. But its doubly insulting when the person looks it up and realizes that not only have they been insulted, but they wasted their own time to realize just HOW they were insulted.

Exactly! It may have been funny, back in vanilla, when I got confused as to where I was supposed to go to get the cooking book and thought I needed to take my (level 16) night elf hunter to where Silvermoon is now instead of where I was supposed to go (in Ashenvale), but those days are long gone.

I may have to give that a try as well, Need to fill the void for the loss of what I deem was an escape from it all in “Warcraft”.

Best of luck Aehl.

You’ve been one of the few individuals to attempt to speak reason, be fair to others, and have the capacity to own your mistakes. Not many forum-goers, or even people in general, tend to have to these qualities any longer.

Respect.

Another advantage to games like ESO and FF14.

No contrived and poorly written faction conflict to worry about! If you see a player in the world, you can become their best buds.

Now try doing that every week for months, if not years, on end.

I like that you can buy houses with crowns or with gold on ESO.
Loving the outfit station/transmogrifier on ESO. Much better set up. Not this random crap and hundres of hours of farming just to get a set that looks like it fits.
I just hit level 14 with my first character and Ive got a really cool mog/outfit thats all matching purple (dyed) and gray that looks freaking awesome.
and when I put new gear on it just changes to the current appearance. No running to the transmog and paying another stack of gold to make it all look the same again.
I dont think Im ever coming back to WoW after seeing ESO.

One of the nice things about F2P games is that there is no cost to try. Personally, of all the F2P games I have tried, I like the EQ2 model best.

I couldn’t put it any other way lol. It just grinds my gears that we are not treated like valued customers at all!

Sorry to see you go, Aehl. I remember your passionate and well-thought-out posts from the WoD flying debacle. You will be missed.

Aehl take care and remember the things that happen to us irl will heal over time; Hopefully we’ll meet in another game one day.

Peace! Out! :v:

Yup. EQ2 as well. There are two factions (unambiguously labeled as “good” and “evil”), but unless you are on a PvP server, you can group up with (and even be in the same guild with) characters of the other faction. On my server (Maj’Dul), I have a necromancer (who must be “evil”), that is in the same guild as my “good” characters.

Thank you.

My reasons are many: but it comes down to this, as I cant leave feedback anywhere else.

  1. The broken OCE day night cycle. Sick to death of playing in darkness. Two and a half YEARS of feedback. Silence. Tweets, silence. Q and A. silence.

Not one word on why they cant or wont fix what they broke.

  1. Sick to death of the fact the OCE community has been ignored and forgotten. CMs have time to post fluff in GD…and cant or wont talk to OCE about anything.

  2. Flight. A year is too long, dont care how you spin it.

  3. The portal debacle. Multiple threads and multiple pleas to not remove what wasnt broken: silence. They ask for feedback…then ignore it.

  4. The OCE calendar, tied to US times, so the times for events is in US time and apparently Blizzard cant, or wont, manage to have a display that shows events in local time. Newsflash: Aust operates 17 hours different to California…so telling me that a world event starts at xxx time in the US is useless to someone halfway around the world. Everyone else can do it. Apparenly Blizzard cant.

It is not “working as intended” if it cannot show me what time an event starts in local time.

Classes broken beyond belief. Pruned beyond repair.

Azerite gear that you get in raids and then have to grind thousands of AP just to be able to use the traits…so what you have is a piece of gear thats a stat stick and little else.

BFA had a lot of promise…and like its predecessor WOD…has failed, in my eyes, to live up to that potential.

Wont even go into the writing.

Oh yes, almost forgot, the server lag that has crippled gameplay, still no closer to a fix.

Those are my reasons, take them or leave them as you will.

No, to be clear, the “fans” never found the “poor CM” - it was some random family.

Hey 8.3K and nothing. What a epic fail. Just Quit Blizzard your not trying to better your game anymore.

Make wow free to play and pay to win and sell wow to another company.

I wish I had something more meaningful to reply with, but you’ve already elaborated more than I would be able to on your valid concerns.

Hopefully, at some point, someone in the company will take note and work on them.

For me …

Classes being watered down and simply no longer fun to play (I loved the days of Wrath when I could pinch tank or pinch heal in an emergency, saved many groups that way)

The war on flying.

The portals and them saying “We heard your feedback” but it came across as lip service because even if they genuinely heard it they had no time to act on it.

The lack of communication (even though they said they’d improve on it, they haven’t)

The lackluster story and the at times extremely stupid ways they force the faction war to continue.

The system requirements (yes, that’s a real concern, back when I played WoD, I went over and played FF14. FF14 ran smoother than WoD did. Same machine, same ISP, better performance. Performance in WoW took a big hit in 7.3 for me and has only gone downhill since. Other more demanding games run better than WoW does.)

The bad systems from Legion were carried over to BfA almost 100% intact with no real changes.

BfA has also been lackluster and just can’t hold me. There is something I can’t put a finger on, but it just can’t keep my interest like previous expansions did.

That’s just some of the more critical things for me.

The day night cycle issue has been going on since 2016. Two and a half years. On OCE servers it is night time ALL THE TIME.
