Rearranging and Removing Portals

I’m not naïve; Posting doesn’t do squat, Has there been any comment since a CM first started this post?

Just like the thread “XP FROM DUNGEONS” that was started by a CM as a sticky ASKING for feedback, Only to be unstickied and left with no response whatsoever from them for over a year that thread went, Talk is talk, But Actions speak louder than words.

AND…they know from their own data if players are playing more or less.
I can track EVERY single person who even glances at my websites.
Blizzard KNOWS if they are losing customers interest before our subs expire.

Then why aren’t they worried? I look at the servers and I see many that are high and full, Back when it was flight that was an issue during WoD the servers went all low or new players as did the realm I was playing but that’s not the case now.

But, sadly, Blizz doesn’t seem able to grasp why they’re losing customers’ interest. (If they did, I assume they wouldn’t keep making the same mistake–removing player agency and replacing it with forced game play.)

They KNOW whats going on.
its called ‘cognitive dissonance’
Its a real thing and to normal brains like yours and mine it makes no sense.
We arent dealing with normal, otherwise theyd not be ticking off paying customers.

You didn’t make the world bigger, you made it frustrating and made players LESS likely to go back to old content.

As far as having too many portals. Other games I play have nearly instant travels options and guess what? it makes me play more. if I am faced with a long FP in wow I walk away, forget what I was doing and get logged out for inactivity.

But, what do those words actually mean? Who decided those realms are “high” or “full” populations? Who has the actual numbers? Can you see what those numbers are?

Blizzard classifies the populations however they wish. You can’t rely on an undefined word to mean much of anything.

those are high and full because players are being sharded into there, compare the amount of high/full servers to the low pop ones, there’s a HUGE contrast.
edit: er… i atleast, i think that’s why they’re high/full.

Ok, It makes players LESS likely to go back to old content.

But does it make you want to quit over this?

You see many are not saying they will quit over this.

You want results then the only way is to vote with your wallets.

Which is THE reason they did it.
They aint fooling anyone but the ‘yes’ men with this lying OP crap.
he knows they are ticked because we dont like their BfA garbage that could have been just fine, but they keep nerfing it to squeeze more time out of us and many of us aint having it.
Add in a temper tantrum or two and storming out of a board room and demanding that the devs remove portals to PUNISH US for hating THEIR crappy game.
Enter me and many others just walking way from Activision and Blizzard permanently.

That’s obvious. And the sad thing is, many honest employees at the companies are going to get burned by it.

give it time, dude, this change JUST happened.
Secondly servers full of characters are not necessarily ‘logged in and playing’.

If they were worried they would be in here undoing what they done.

But guess what? They aren’t…

BFA is on clearance again, nearly half off. Twice in a single current expansion really is a first, they’re practically begging people to buy their game.

The other worry is those that will just quit without saying a word. We’re the Unhappy Vocal Customer. The dangerous ones from a financial standpoint are the Unhappy Silent Customers. They just leave without saying why.

Look at WoD. They lost almost half their playerbase. There certainly werent 3-5 million customers in here complaining. That’s dangerous.

I just got done talking with a guildy, being polite to let him know “once my current sub is up, I’m gone. here’s why.”

Of course he’s not happy. We’re good friends. But, I can’t support a company that behaves like Blizzard. Not any longer.

Well, I got a message back from a GM about my issue with not being able to complete quests and he apologized that he did not know what to tell me other than he was sorry and that I should submit a suggestion and bug report. Now I know he is just the inbetween person so I just sent a thank you back and told him I would. I can’t blame them for being in that position. However, I got that CS survey back after the ticket, while I made sure to make it know that the GM did everything right I have been typing for the past 20 mins in their “Is there anything else you would like us to know box” LOL. I am surprised it does not have a text limit.

It will probably again fall on deaf ears but I felt as though I was going to give it a try and one point I made was these forum posts and if I needed to create more, LOL. Who knows, but it just a sad situation that this is happening to a great game.

Just wanted comment on this as a psychology nut.

Cognitive dissonance is absolutely present currently. On top of that, I genuinely think that more than a few of these corporate and dev heads need a psychological evaluation.

There’s more going on here than just greed.

I can’t support them either, I’m not reupping my sub after all the time metric B/S and all that has been going on for the last few years, I’m done.

How many are really going to quit over just this? For me this was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

All I’m saying is if you want to be heard EVERYONE start their own thread on this subject, All you’re doing here is CONTAINING your frustrations in one place for them to not have to worry about containing others.

yeah?
and a lot of people dont say theyre ditching out and not paying their rent when they leave in the middle of the night either.
sorry but that doesnt mean much.
Most people who quit, just quit. Gone. MiA.
As far as quitting. Ive already quit. Havent logged in in days. Playing other games now.
But they aint getting free money from me. I’ll be right here posting until the subs expire making sure they know that I know that they screwed this up themselves.

Was a GREAT game but has been going downhill for a while now; I’m sad too, Over a decade invested in this game for me.
