You are far too generous. Ever since they lied about “THE BIGGEST DEV TEAM EVER!” working on “THE BIGGEST EXPAC EVER!” at the end of MoP, it’s been a long downhill slide with them giving us lip service about making the game better the whole time.
The biggest problem with this game is that it is run by someone who is a number crunching lawyer first (and apparently a very like minded team that won’t stand up to him), and a game designer a very, very, very, very, very, very, very distant second. A fact made plainer to the ever dwindling player base with each boneheaded move like this with each passing day…
Just like people say you can’t train a cat. When I got my cat, an older cat, she loved to curl up on my chest and nap. Adorable image of course. Hard to get a good picture of it because of angle.
Except she did the one thing that no human likes.
Guess where her butt was pointed?!
It took time but I convinced her to nap with her butt pointing another direction.
Almost anything is possible if you’re willing to put the time and effort into it.
What I’ve noticed over the last couple days is people don’t even know. People are still in chat like “where’s the Zandalar portal?” and “how do I get back to outlands now?” so I’m guessing more people are going to show up over time.
That was a crazy comment.
Taking portals away doesnt change squat about the world.
What they said is the same as saying if we remove all the roads the world would be bigger.
No…it wouldnt. Its just make it more annoying and time consuming to get around.
You gotta wonder about people who are begging Blizzard to waste more of their game time in travel, then applaud them when they actually get dumb enough to do it.
Crazy man.
MY time must be far more valuable to me than theirs is to them, thats for certain.
True…but this push isn’t exclusive to actiblizz. There is a trend to dump more resources into mobile, and sooner or later the market saturation, combined with the lack of quality games will cause something akin to the gaming crash of the 80s.
The only solace is that a lot of these fat cats won’t be churning out junk and we’ll have some quality dev teams and leads again…but we’ll have to make do for a while until the dust settles.
So long as there are people talking in the GD forums Blizzard knows these are paying subscribers because you have to be a paying subscriber to post in GD.
What Blizzard is worried about is when the forums grow silent and then the servers grow empty; Sadly I think that’s the only thing that will get their attention.
If everyone wants to get on their nerves start new threads about the same issue because posting in this thread and the other massive thread is exactly where ActiBlizz wants the complaints to be posted because all these 2 threads are is CONTAINMENT THREADS so they can keep the complaints contained.
Don’t believe me? Google CONTAINMENT THREADS for yourself and find out.
It’s no longer “about to become”. For a number of my characters, it is now impossible to get a port from the Thrallmar/Honor Hold mage(s) so the characters can continue their questing in Hellfire peninsula. Which characters can and cannot get a port makes no sense.
Some characters that are way over-level and have gone through all the quests can get a port. Some characters that are on-level and haven’t finished questing cannot. Some on-level characters who have finished, some over-level characters who have, can get/not get ports. I cannot figure out what “rule” governs who is allowed to take the port and who is not.
Those who are not permitted to port are told to take the Shattrath portal, so they can get to Outland. But I feel it is very much “unreasonable” for the Hellfire Peninsula portal(s) to be gone and the replacement NPC(s) to be unreliable and capricious.
He seems to have missed the part where Blizzard can see that none of my accounts is logging in the last 10 days or so after nearly two years of 10 hour days.
Im sure they can see their own stats and know that a ton of players are losing interest yet again because of their own obstinance and stupidity.
