True. In fact, the classic fans are a minority. A good sized minority, yes, but still a minority. I’ve always supported them, because I believe that everyone should be able to play the way that they want to, but if the devs are going to use them as an excuse to try turning retail into classic and forcing those outdated systems on the rest of us, I won’t anymore.

No, it doesn’t. In fact, it shrinks the world. Sticking everyone into Org/SW just makes those cities crowded. Plus, if a place is out of the way for me, I am a lot less likely to visit it. This change just makes the more remote areas into ghost towns.

The RealID fiasco was them at their worst
I still remember reading about the day one of the CMs put his real name on the forums and said “Do your worst”.
The response was the same as 4chans reply to that halfwit LaBoeuf

Blizzard reversed course so fast they left skid marks in Silvermoon.

I wasn’t here for that. Or not a forumite anyway. I heard it got pretty nasty what they did to the CM. It’s very much the GIFTWAD theory.

My bad. The 4chan thread about portal removal was pretty tame. By 4chan standards. Archived and locked as well.
It really isnt worth their time.

Well, I’ll be enjoying my Miqote sometime this weekend. I’ve been busy this week so haven’t been able to recharge my CC. Prepaid card.
Blizzard has been pushing me hard since Warlords to give up the habit.
Warlords was actually when I switched over to FF14.
And now, two expansions later, Blizzard is once again sending me back.
It’s not just the portal thing, its the war on flying, its the lies about “aggressive forum moderation” (which never happened), its them gutting my characters down, making them less interesting, its the world just not being as fun as it used to be. In short, its the death of a thousand cuts.

It’s too bad it seems like they just don’t care.
And that is a sad thing. I came to WoW near the end of Vanilla. Friend of mine got me into the game. Nice cool guy I’ve known for over a decade now.
Sure, I had my breaks due to issues with real life, but every time my RL was stable, I’ve had a subscription with WoW. And they’re trying to drive me away.

No company worth their salt wants apathetic customers. Because they’re too easy to lose.
