I’m a fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me kind of guy myself, They’ve lost the total trust I had even if they went back to before patch 7.3.5 I won’t trust them ever again.
I know what you mean, Just shy of 14 years here, My scale was tipped before this portal thing, What tipped my scale was when they nerfed heirlooms and altered xp required to level before offering the races to be unlocked for pre-purchasing BFA.
Been paying with game gold for a year now just seeing if they would change but they’re not.
Now I’m sorry I paid in game gold because it just gave them more in their pockets from the seller of the token.
You did what must be done. People will be upset, but you 100% made the right decision. Removing portals does expand the world regardless of what others may think. Portals and flying are good separate, but are unhealthy when combined.
Nothing like removing portals when people who didn’t want them there in the first place after Blizzard gave them to us could have just ignored them. Weird concept I guess.
I have a statement and a question. When I took a portal to the Shine there were always at least a few players there (depending on the time of day). When I took the portal to the Jade Forest yesterday, I didn’t see even a single other player. Do you think that’s an improvement?
Well, I just found out something VERY interesting. I logged into my rogue and I have two class hall quests that tell me to go to the Chamber of the Guardians and take the portal to Karazhan. So as they said, if you have a quest to use a portal it should be there. WRONG, there is no portal to go to Karazhan for me EVEN THOUGH I have a quest. So I am guessing that was a “false truth”. Way to go Blizzard, also while I have been here about 5 mins I have seen 20 people come in and go out.
So, there you have it, even though you have a quest to use the portal that should show up if you have a quest to use them, the portals do not work as Blizzard stated.
