Your “response” was to ignore anything that you didn’t like. And you have no problem with repeating yourself when it comes to misinformation. You can do that all day no problem.
Agreed.
I think if this were ONCE instance of this crap we’d be a lot more likely to work with them on it.
This is just one more petty move on their part to ruin the game we love for NO good reason at all.
Enough becomes enough at some point.
Should stop feeding the internet forum trolls now.
yeah…go read the one where I said I AM HERE FOR A CAUSE…because I USE THOSE PORTALS…I AM HERE TO CHANGE something.
YOU have admitted it doesnt affect YOU.
one of us has PURPOSE here…the other seems to be seeking attention.
No, the response was that as long as the cost outweighs the benefits, it should be done, and the benefits are huge. The thing is that it will probably take 0 investment to remove an artificial lock. The entire world is already scaled. Anyway I don’t have the hard data, you don’t either, so if its cost effective do it, if not, don’t. Don’t ask me this again.
I’ve already explained this to you several times as well.
Ion is a tool. He develops with a scorched earth policy. Taking all that was fertile and good like classes, content, storyline, player options, etc and raze it to the ground then tell us its better.
And then when we he gets asked about it in an interview he is always like:
Yeah because multimillionaire companies want to lose money for some reason.
If thats the case then Ion is doing a great job with two failed expansions so far.
And it’s been explained to you that the costs will never outweigh the benefits. They’d have to do no new content for over a year to get this stuff working again at 120. And I don’t need hard data, I just need to look at their previous attempts at scaling. TW dungeons and WoD in general are still out of whack over a year later. And I’ll stop correcting you when you stop making the errant assumption that scaling tech is a magic bullet that can solve everything with the push of a button.
Pretty sure paying someone to recode the portals out, place some of them into one centralized special place (the portal room) costs more money than just leaving them as is.
But I am no expert on this, just a thought.
Well they’re doing a great job. So mission accomplished?
Look I’m a programmer, I do this for a living. I’ve worked in mobile game companies in the past, I can assure you that you are wrong on this.
Yes, dungeons and raids might need extra tweeking, but even with no tweeking it would be better to make it ratter then let it rot.
The world is already gigantic.
I’m still trying to understand the argument for removing portals. From what I understand it’s because it’s too complicated for people to find portals in different places… because the game should take longer to move through so it feels bigger… and to visually declutter the portals. Is there something I’m missing?
Noice Dumpster fire.
We’re trying to figure this out as well. There wasn’t an issue with portals before this patch. Why is there an issue now?
Sadly spot on, definitely not the type of leader I personally would like to see leading the game I’ve really like.
Guys, I know what I’m talking about I invented the Internet.
