Count the thread post on individual comment for the return of portals.
But the reward system isn’t designed around players playing on 50 toons. The reward system is designed around the devs wanting certain drops to be rare, and having multiple alts is how players compensate for that design. You can take away people’s alts, but that won’t actually change how the devs design drops; they’ve always had ridiculous low drop-rate rewards in game. Ergo, no, people playing 50 alts does not affect the reward system in the game you play.
Weird. We have one with more in arena forums.
I wonder why LOL. You can figure that out by yourself for now. Until you realize how absurd that sounds that you care about how others play the game, I will continue to ask it, why do you care?
And they can have classic back when it goes live in a few months. They don’t need to worry about dragging down the rest of us with their nostalgia.
Because, for most of us at least, its NOT ‘‘mind numbing’’.
You seriously need a perspective, as most people will not play at something they do not like.
Flips hair
Well spoken, enemy mine.
Here, have a cold one on me
She will never grasp the concept other people play this game differently.
- No…MY farming doesnt have ANY effect on YOUR game.
- No…missing portals, by YOUR admission, have no bearing on YOUR game…either way.
So no…if you choose not to run in OLD zones, they dont affect you in the least.
Ahh, the previous 5,000+ thread? Muted that days ago, I didn’t want to get drawn in to parallel discussions on the same topic. I’d imagine the ratios will be roughly the same.
Exactly.
Again, that’d be like me spending MY days attacking Pet Battlers when it has ZERO to do with how I play MY game.
At some point Id have to be seen as simply trolling if I were to insert myself into such a discussion since it has no bearing on how I play MY game.
Yes!! Finally!! Mages have taken over ActiBlizz. For your future instant travel between places, please see your friendly neighborhood Mage.
lets say you are a game designer and you want to design a reward system. You notices that the reward system you designed, instead of rewarding the player that has the best strategy, rewards instead a player who cheats. If you don’t want your game to be a game about the best cheater, you will try to block this type of behavior to make it go back to be a game about the best strategist.
The problem is way worse then that. The only reason this system even exists is that wow has a habit of destroying the previous expansions by making the content exponentially easier without removing or relocating the dangling rewards.
With the sample it is more than 157 in 236 post from individual. i did the other thread as well,it’s 160 out of 271 with no repeats.
Having 50 alts is cheating? How?
Ok than I’ll stop taking you seriously since you admit to just be spamming me.
That’s not what you said… But I guess it doesn’t matter because insta-flight is a hypothetical that almost certainly will never happen, except in temporary “for specific quest” purposes.
Clearly blizzard is absolutely fine with us going afk/tabbing out every time we go on a taxi bird or they would have changed it by now. Heck in flying enabled areas, the only reason I use taxi birds is so I won’t over shoot my destination while I’m tabbed/afk. I’d rather control my travel otherwise, mine a few nodes, kill a rare or whatever on the way.
If people think the outcry is bad now, just WAIT until patch day when all the people who DON’T follow PTR news try to do their weekly transmog runs and find out their travel pattern has been completely removed. Because I’d bet anything there are twice as many players who don’t even know this is coming who will also be up in arms about it once they find out in the live game.
No one has taken a single thing you’ve said here seriously because you don’t understand the general concept of how other people play this game besides you and they can do whatever the hell they please.
it doesn’t change the fact that it was a source of complaint and I was responding to someone who claimed it was not.
