I also add to your ‘burnout list’ the ongoing lack of attention to pre-existing problems. REAL problems such as WPvP, Pathfinder in old content, the constant pruning of…EVERYTHING.
We used to look forward to parches/expacs: now, we dread them.

If you reward the most legendary loots in the game to a mind numbing activity that involves gambling, this is in my opinion a horrendous reward system. The mere existence of it in a multiplayer game affects anyone that plays it, doesn’t matter if they chose to do it or not.

An unfortunate truth. It’s sad to have gone from, “Oh, I wonder what this patch is going to add?” to “I wonder what this patch is going to take away or break.”

I agree,every patch is dreadful now.I’m not looking forward to the next patch.
It’s funny. I have almost no use for the portals because I am an engineer. I am here for everyone else who wants the portals back. I have CM teleports, rings, cloaks, all sorts of whatever that can get me places, but I still understand how this makes things inconvenient.

Where is this happening?
Let me point the obvious for you: Lets say you want to farm a specific mount. The mount has 0.01% drop chance. You travel to the dungeon, go inside, walk to the end of it while spamming the aoe button and loots the last boss. Since you are now locked you take your character and go to the next dungeon and do the same and then the next one. You now repeat that process with 50 characters in order to increase the odds.
Why are you unaware of this?

People were using 50 characters farming as a justication to criticism the change, this was a response to this justification.

Like I said many times, it is because this is a reward system in a game I play, and everyone in the game is affected by it, whether they do it or not.
You act like people have an advantage over you or something. You can have 50 alts, too. So why does it matter if they do it on 50 toons?

Some people don’t show a post count, even though they have posted in here, too, which is odd.
You don’t have to earn a mechanical advantage. This is an MMO. Cosmetic items, transmogs, mounts, pets, weapons, toys, they are all part of the reward system.
It matters because it is a bad reward system that encourages mind numbing activity, and it is in a game I play. why do you keep repeating questions for things I’ve already answered?
