Rearranging and Removing Portals

…like their plans for flying in WoD, as an example?
Please; they have shown time and again that they don’t care.

I don’t know and wouldn’t accuse anyone of anything like that.
Clearly the present devs don’t understand emergent game play or player agency either. I’m giving up on this particular sandbox anyway. It’s becoming more and more obvious the present devs are perfectly fine with driving people away that don’t fit the raid/dungeon speed run parameters.

Well, if it is, maybe he can read here first that HE is partially to blame when this game goes into the red.

Ok, now I have to log onto my Hordie and go find that. Did you know the Coyote actually DID catch the Roadrunner?

Yup. He had him fair and square. Turned, looked at the audience, held up a sign that said “Now what?”

He then let him go. The roadrunner looked at him for a few seconds, did his usual beep beep and then ran off.

Of course.

But wisely, (as any company would.) they count the players from all 3 platforms to boost their sub count reports.

Which is why I think its a bit unfair to compare WoW to the two, without exact PC player counts.

I personally preferred Burning Crusade to current content.

And I’m all for allowing you to play Burning Crusade as it was at the time. I don’t think new content should kill old content, it makes absolutely no sense.

FF14 awaits.
Ive been playing it most of the day.

But they’ve proven time and again that they’re aren’t very good, or fast, when it comes to toning down scaling issues.

I agree, but I ratter have an entire raid tier cut in order to 7 expansions worth of content to be brought back from the grave.

Eh, I really think WoW is much, much bigger than the other two combined. Just the sheer number of exterior sites running to support WoW (think WoWhead and Raiderio, etc) is enormous in comparison to the others.

Well obviously, because you’re cutting out large swathes of the playerbase on the other ones. If we follow that logic, all WoW has to do to become successful again is release cross-platform clients.

After all of you guys quit, and I’m the last wow player standing, there will only be one players opinion that matters…

MINES!

drunk with power

Oh, so you’re going to start Tin Foil Hat theorizing that too like Taienna did? Hahaha. Maybe Blizzard should hire me…

I get Blizz employee vibes from some people too

This game would die a much quicker death with you on the team because if you saw someone playing the game not like the way you intended for it to be played, which by the way is impossible in an MMO you’d just ban them.

That would increase the numbers at an incredible rate.

MMOs are relatively new to consoles, and thus games like ESO and FF14 get a lot of success from it.
Question is, could Blizzard do that with the current engine of WoW. And how would the gameplay be affected.

FF14 and ESO are action based combat games, not tab target. (Unless FF14 is a mixture of both? I don’t recall.)

still waiting for MY quote, son.
Any time now.

I have many of the same concerns about the current game. It is far too raid and dungeon centric. There should be endgame progression for all gameplay styles, whether that be professions, pet battles or AH farming. You didn’t counter my point about emergent gameplay. What emergent gameplay does WoW offer right now? I think we can both agree there should be more however…

I see two that came directly from players and not devs.

You know me better than me. That’s exactly what I’d do. Thanks internet stranger. You’ve solved the riddle of my life. Who needs God or country when you have the WoW GD forums… So much wisdom.
