They even went so far as to create a customized survey for random folks who quit during BfA. One tailored specifically to BfA design decisions. One of the reasons for quitting they listed was Azerite Armor.
I’ve unsubbed in the past and never received a customized expansion specific survey on why I was quitting. Yet a number of people in BfA received just that. So they know there are issues with BfA and they’re not fixing them.
Instead, they’re doubling down on the stupid and pissing off even more players. This gives more players more reasons to quit and give Blizzard the middle finger.
Its based on seeing the total lack of regard in here for others ‘needs’.
I have to assign a motive to understand their position.
Mostly its either just spite. They DO understand but are getting a joyful kick out of others misery.
Or they just cannot connect with the needs of others…lack of empathy.
I hope to god its the latter with this one.
Well, logic says that things people enjoy they spend more time doing. I mean, does anyone actually enjoy changing the cat litter? It’s something we do as a necessity.
When a game stops being Fun and simply becomes a Chore and a bunch of Boring Necessities, its going to lose players. That’s a cold hard fact.
Yes, there will always be necessities that have to be taken care of. Same with chores in game. The key is to make them something you can complete quickly or that you can have a certain amount of fun while doing.
Which is why some of feel they should be putting their resources in improving the game and should leave things like the portals alone. The portals are doing no harm to the game, in fact they enhance the current game greatly by allowing players to focus on the content vs the journey to get there. I already have 4 allys leveled up and a total of 8 toons at max level because of the lack of current content. In Legion at this time, I only had my two mains at max level. I did not focus on leveling up my other 20+ toons until the end of the xpac where you could use invasions to quickly get them to max level.
I get the feeling you don’t know what “hyperbolic” means.
It is not an exaggeration to say that a person doesn’t want to waste 10 minutes of their play time just traveling, especially when they only have an hour to play. Since you are not that person, you can’t claim “it’s not ten minutes” because you have no idea where they’re trying to go or what they’re trying to accomplish with their time.
It’s very clear you are unable to understand another person’s point of view–you’ve said it time and time again. There’s really nothing I can think of that would help you comprehend what everyone’s been saying. Perhaps you should just accept that you don’t understand and move on.
Everything in this forum is voluntary, no one has to do anything, if you want you can answer the questions, if you don’t want to you can ignore it. Nobody is implying you have no choice.
