I’m not sure if this is allowed or not, but back in patch 8.1 I was using the group finder to find questing/etc groups in other realms and would join them to check if rares or etc have respawned on that realm.
I recently tried this today and for some reason am not phasing into other realms. Has this been patched/adjusted?
Unless it was a silent change to the game, using group finder to jump to another shard or realm was active as of the beginning of 8.3, and even as recently as a month ago when some guild mates and I were camping Rotfeaster.
It’s also maintenance day, so chances are your odds will increase as soon as the realms come back up in two hours, give or take.
Does this work for Legion rares? I’m trying to do Houndmaster and I’ve tried like 15 realms now.
The fact that this is even a thing saddens me.
You only change realms if you’re in the same zone as the group leader.
What Imoen said. You also need to be in the same war mode… mode (That is: you won’t change realms if the group lead has war mode on and you don’t, or vice versa).
Have to be in the same realm as the person you’re grouping with
