“Great player housing” prove it is there any negatives or is it everything is on the positive side with no issue and no problems that people have. I would love to see some evidence.
That is bait. Anyone who has dealt with you knows you don’t care to hear what others say, you just like to hear yourself speak.
Is that so? People like you love to put on a positive spin on everything and you THINK that it will have no issues with other players or ideals in terms of other people mindset and among other things. What a selfish and closed minded way of thinking and yet you seem to think that your ideas is supported by everyone when in fact not everyone thinks and acts like you. And to think that your words matters more that’s really ridiculous.
Well if reframing my point to something I never do or say, makes it easier to “refute,” go for it. But it only reiterates my initial point.
Say whatever you want but the fact is housing is a waste of time and space.
You’re welcome to your opinion, but there is little to no evidence to support it either.
We can deduce this to hot air and my initial point.
Understandable. That’s how I feel every time a new raid comes out.
I too don’t care about playing house in this game. What am I going to do? Invite someone so they can see and be bored 2 mins later? Lol I pass.
In other games they allow utility like profession stations, achievements, trophys, and even “arenas” of sorts for dueling and many other activities to take place in those areas, or displayed.
So is transmog. After all expressing yourself in a virtual world is dumb.
Transmog is less time consuming versus that of housing FYI housing is a expansion level system so yeah it’s a waste of resources and money.
You don’t farm transmog, do you?
This is the first thread I’ve seen on it in weeks. That suggests you had some reason to get players fighting about it again, making you the obsessed one.
You can quote the heck out of me but quoting things and putting them out of context but sure do your thing. Transmog system is far less resources consuming vs player housing which is expansion level system. Also, I’ve been playing this game since legion and I know how the mog system works. And guess what I did farm for my sets but guess what I pick and choose which set I wanted to get and not collect everything at once. But sure paint me otherwise in another context.
The irony here being that is a lot of potential content we have in game today.
Housing is something that can easily be expanded upon. A curtain here, a mounted dragon head there, the ideas are limitless and can be added to a variety of content.
Garrisons weren’t player-housing. They weren’t in central locations used regardless of expansions, they weren’t very customizable, nothing about them was grounds for proper player housing. If you told me I had to go back to Orclands just to see someone’s house I probably wouldn’t.
The first step for PH is putting them in cities, mainly because it’s probably easiest to do so. I would like open world type housing but that might not be easier to implement so I’m going to just stick with capitol cities.
I quoted the important aspect of your comment, the contrast and comparison to transmog farming, and decorating a player home for activities they participate in regularly.
To say Transmog farms take very little time, then twisting the amount of time it takes to decorate a player’s home, is pretty far and between. Especially since no current housing exists in the game, how can you insinuate this outside fear mongering?
Note: I’m not even going to check you on Transmog farming times, because it is a time consuming event, and it isn’t a small metric by any means.
I just want it for the potential for extra storage tbh
It is quite nice to be honest.
I think the garrison technology would be perfect. Dump all the “personal quest hub” stuff. The doorway to your home is a portal in all main cities. When you leave, you click from a menu which main city you want to end up in. The actual home would be instanced, and it could be located in many different zones with a back door to step out into that zone.
It is an interesting thought. Better yet, since professions are becoming reworked and supposed to go more indepth, even in terms of offering services or requesting professions in certain areas, it may allow the player a personal market hub to do business with folks. They would be able to have access to capital cities for the AH, perhaps even minimizing trade and times required to travel. May even open up more community activities at peoples’ in game homes. Perhaps even physical representation of a guild hall, where guilds can place crafting stations and other neat utilities the guild can use.
